Today we're checking out the new Set 23
Starter-Exclusive Ninjas. First off we have Naruto.
Like pretty much all of his Shippuden versions, he's
a T3 with Growth, Clone Status, and the Oil Combat
Attribute. While he's in play all of your Lightning
Jutsus cost one less. This Valid effect doesn't just
apply to any Lightning Jutsu Naruto uses, but any
Lightning Jutsu any of your Ninjas were to use. When
facing Chakra Control this guy can actually do well,
since he can help you bypass situations where your
Chakra is Limited (or you just need to use more
Jutsus). Although he may not be the long-awaited
Sage Mode Naruto or one that'll let you get a Tailed
Beast Form out quick, he can still work well. He's
better as a Sideboard option for Lightning than he
would be in the Maindeck.
