Beastly Mage

Manda

This version of Manda allows you to remove him to negate either a Jutsu or an effect in the chain. By "chain" the effect is talking about Ninja or Mission effects that can be chained as well as Jutsus. When that happens your opponent can't activate any more effects or play more cards. So, you can negate a Mission, remove Manda from play, and your opponent won't be able to put Ninjas in play or anything else. This makes this Snake pretty fearsome. He's also got Ambush, so that makes putting him in play easy. Now, you'd think that by removing him that would be the end of Manda. Turns out that the second part of his effect allows you to deploy him from your Removed from Game pile. So, you use his negation effect, next turn you get to deploy him and the cycle continues. Remember that it's a deployment and not a "put in play". He's got some good Combat, though he's never been a supporter. Remember that the negation effect is Valid, so good news for all.

Limited: 2/5 (late-game, hand cost)
Constructed: 3/5 (Best Manda in this format)
Block: 3.5/5 (good way to put your opponent in a rut)
Art: Indiana Jones would die if he saw this.../5
