6/25/10 N-US072 Jiraiya [Instruction Of The Hidden Technique]
==============================================

Today's exclusive is the reprint of the best Jiraiya in the game, at least in my opinion. If you have Naruto out on the field, you can take back a Jutsu card from your Discard Pile to your hand during the Mission Phase. This is similar to the FP Naru/Jiraiya squad, but you don't have to lose two powerful ninjas to get the effect. This guy can lead to some seriously powerful combos with his jutsu recycling, and can quickly turn around the battle. The only downsides are that you need Naruto, but it's not too hard to get one in play for Lightning and it's not valid, but you can just squad him to get back the effect if he gets injured.

Limited: 1.5/5 Depends if you get Naruto
Constructed: 3.75/5 Very good here
Block: 3.75/5 Just as good

Beastly Mage

Jiraiya

I really like this new Chibi. It's perfect for Lightning, which has become a force to be reckoned with now. Now that it's Block Legal, expect to see this guy pop up everywhere. Solid stats make him good at turn 6. The effect is also great. There are a lot of versions of everybody's favorite Knuckleheaded Ninja out there. And, remember, it's 1 Jutsu, and the effect doesn't specify anything such as user requirements. Try it and see!

Limited: 3/5
Constructed: 3/5
Block: 4/5
