Beastly Mage

Captivity

Today's card is another doozy for Water decks. Captivity can move one of your Ninjas and one of your opponent's Ninjas to the Chakra Area. Only thing is that the two Ninjas have to be of the same turn cost. That kinda limits its playability, but it's still good. You can get rid of a Chump Blocker on your side to get rid of one of your opponent's Ninjas that's giving you a headache. Try it and see!

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 3.5/5

M-480 Captivity

What is this, depressing mission week? Another lackluster card for another lackluster day...

Today's mission is another mission that probably won't be played, Captivity. It's pretty much a non counter mission version of Arbitration, which seems like it'd be good in an element so heavy in Ambush. But the problem is that this card can only target a ninja of the same turn cost as your target, which can be a pretty harsh restriction. Yeah, Water has a whole team full of Ambush ninja, but not all of them see play, so you're probably best hitting a T5 against another one. The only issue there is that against Wind, there's no good T5s to hit.

Constructed:2/5 It's an okay effect, but a bit too restrictive
Limited:3/5 A lot more targets here that are worth hitting
Art:A girl fight is always good art, no matter what/5
