Beastly Mage

Ino Yamanaka

This is one card that's sure to please a lot of players. [Get Well Soon Gift] helps you heal an injured Ninja in her team every time you attack, granted she's in healthy status (the effect's not valid, unfortunately). Her effect can make her better than such cards as Iruka [Reward], since you can use her effect more than once, until (let's say) you get your big hitter out (such as the Fifth Hokage). Stat-wise she's a bit better than [Formation], having 1/1 and 0/1. In Limited, she can be great. Same with constructed. Try it and see.

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 3/5

Hey, I thought we would be getting Shippuden Ino, but I guess not. Hey well, this card is still pretty nice. A turn 0 that can heal? I like I like. Best part of this, her target has no restriction! She can heal anyone. No chakra cost, it only requires that she be attacking in the same team. Pretty decent, and she has better stats than any other Ino we have seen so far. I’m guessing this is supposed to be representative of her learning medical techniques, so it all works out. All in all, a pretty solid card in limited or constructed.

Limited: 4/5
Constructed: 4/5
Art: Aw, she’s cute.
Matthew Low Tuesday 3/31 - Ino Yamanaka [Get Well Soon Gift] - Ninja - Earth

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW this card is so good! I'm willing to take my lunch break to type this COTD because it is that amazing. Who needs Hinata [Ointment] when you have Ino?

Hinata [Ointment] was good, and Ino is, in most sense, better. Actually, both would be crazy, since they'd be able to heal each other if one was ever taken out.

First off, she's a zero drop. She's not exactly who you'd want on zero, so I wouldn't take her into too much consideration as one of your zeros. She does, however, beat Sakura [A Double Personality] and a few other zero power guys like Insect coins, which gives her a small plus in that scenario.

So what's the deal? With Sasuke [Breaking Off the Connection] being one of the premiere zeros in the game, you'll have a plethora of injured guys all the time. Now you can just team Ino with them and heal them next turn. Or that Sakura [Determination] that needs reuse. Wash, rinse, repeat. It allows you to go extremely aggro, and top that off she can heal ANYONE... not just Genin like Hinata. Which I think is a bit overpowered ala Shizune [Medical Kunoichi]... but I'm not complaining.

So play Ino. She should make cards like Inoichi more playable, and fits in perfectly with rush decks to stablize the board. Be careful of considering her as a zero since her usefulness will be mid-late game, but she's awesome nonetheless.

Constructed: 4.4 out of 5.0 (She may be weak, but she's amazing.)
Limited: 5.0 out of 5.0 (Are you kidding? Healing your guys and a zero? Sign me up!)

Today we show you the newest installment of Ino Yamanka, Get Well Soon Gift.

This new Ino is gifted with upgraded stats to 1/1 (she's primarily a 0/1 on her turn 0 versions) as well as a free heal ability on the attack.

I personally, think this card will see a LOT of play, she screams "play me" and makes Inoichi As a Father (set 12) a better card to play because now you don't have to run a sub-par card to abuse a strong one. Free heal will always see play in naruto as long as damage is the meta.

Really there's not much downside, except you have to play a 1/1 on turn 0. and that's not really a big deal.

Overall, this is a great card.

Constructed: 4 out of 5. Can't wait to pull it.

Art: 4 out of 5. I really like this art.
Mark Howard Today, we FINALLY got another Ino card! However, I hate it.

Her stats are pure win. 1/1-0/1 is terrific. You get to heal a ninja with her whenever she attacks, and there are no costs whatsoever with her.

This card is broken, or at the very least, WAY overpowered. Why? Major inflation. Free healing with Growth and great stats. Early game healing is amazing. This Ino is going to be one of the hottest cards in the set, but I honestly wish it was never released. But aside from how I feel about it, in-game, this is one of the best T0 cards ever made, probably even better than Choji [Source of the Power]. Also, Sasuke, Sumaru, usF Choji, are all going to go WAY up in use because they can always get healed.

This card delivers a huge blow to NvS/Tempo decks, and that's another thing I hate about it. It makes the opponent much harder to kill when they have this out. Of course Tempo does get a boost from this, but not a very big one.

Remember when both players couldn't attack because both had Choji out? Well, now both players can't block because they'll both have Ino. Choji and Ino are going to be the new Gaara-Shika-Cho, free damage on the block, and on the attack. That's my problem with this card. Also, with Shino [Insect Warriors] and Choji [Source of the Power], do we really need yet another insane staple?

5/5, despite being a terrible card for the game itself.
Art: Jesus, this is gonna look good in foil.
Fun Fact: I has to breed meself a Spiritomb.
