Today's card is, well... something else in my book.
A Taijutsu Naruto, with growth and a valid effect
seems good at first. But, the effect only activates
when he's a Back Ninja AND the Head Ninja has the
Taijutsu combat attribute. When that happens, this
Naruto's support becomes the same value as his
combat. That means that (in normal situations) his
support will be between 1 and 3 if he's the back
Ninja to a Rock Lee or a Taijutsu Sasuke. Not bad,
but in constructed there are better Narutos, but in
Limited he could help. Try it and see!

Very interesting Naruto. While the influx of broken
and extremely good Narutos pretty much makes any
"cool" Naruto unplayable, at least this card is
interesting.
On T0, 1/0 3/0 isn't amazing but it isn't
necessarily bad either. You get run over on T0 but 3
power is decent from there, though it's not Control
of Power good. His text is what's interesting, as
when he's a Back Ninja to a Taijutsu head, he's
pretty much a 0/1 0/3. Turn 0 Ninjas with 3 support
don't exactly exist these days (well, to an extent).
What is hilarious is you can actually pump Naruto
with something like Kunai or Unexpected Attack, and
both the head ninja and Naruto would get the pump.
Doesn't do for a bad +4 power Kunai. An Unexpected
in the discard would create an interesting bluff.
You've got a few Taijutsu guys to start off the game
early to make an early team threat. However, as cute
as this card is, I still can't see it being played
over the plethora of awesome to broken Narutos out
there, sadly.
Constructed: 1.5 out of 5.0 (Cool card but
outclassed.)
Limited: 4.5 out of 5.0 (It's a zero drop.)

[Taijutsu Combination]
A neat little boost for those taijutsu decks, Naruto
here brings versatility. He can be 1 support or 3
depending on his status and if you have another
taijutsu user in the team. I still don’t see why
Bandai keeps making this Taijutsu Naruto, it was a
gimmick from UN3…Either way, Taijutsu isn’t
competitive in constructed as far as I’ve seen, but
hey, a 1/0 3/0 on turn 0 that gets a boost when you
have another taijutsu user is pretty nice in
limited. Don’t expect it to see play anywhere
outside of that though.
