Today's card is a doozy. If the
victory or reward are outstanding, you get to
discard every Ninja in your opponent's Chakra Area.
That can be good late game, with a lot of your
opponent's Chakra being composed of Ninjas that have
been sent there by growth effects. This is basically
one heck of a Chakra Control card. The second
effect, though a bit situational, is also good. When
Ranmaru is in play he gets +2/+2. If Ranmaru is on
his team, then you got one fearsome Ninja.

Raiga Kurosuki [Funeral of the Living]
Weʼre ending our week with a very cool rogue ninja.
You should not run this card unless youʼre planning
on comboing it with Ranmaru. Ranmaruʼs effect allows
you to play Raiga on turn 4, and Raigiaʼs effect
allows him to become a 7/4, 5/3 when Ranmaruʼs in
play. That combo alone is beastly. His second effect
says if he wins an Outstanding BR/Victory, you can
discard every ninja card in both players chakra.
Getting this effect to go through once is amazing.
Most of the time, when people charge for missions,
they usually charge a ninja as they want to save
their jutsus for future use. And donʼt forget about
ninjas that are chakra due to growth. Raiga gets rid
of them with a simple Outstanding BR/Victory. You
could definitely combo this card with the client Emi
(whoʼs also on element). Having his effect go
through once isnʼt game breaking but it does tilt
the game in your favor. Try it out and see if it
works for you.

Good card for mono-water decks which should soon be
tier 1. This card would only be great if comboed
with Ranmaru.

Raiga[Funeral of the Living]
This entire week we will be
continuing to look at Lineage of the Legends, the
newest set of Narutothreleased August 29th. Today,
we will be looking at Raiga[Funeral of the Living].
He’s a turn 5 with 1 hand cost
water ninja. Doesn’t Water have enough turn 5’s? He
has a power of 5/2 and an injured of 3/1. He follows
suit in winning an outstanding victory or
outstanding battle reward to get his effect to go
that gets rid of every ninja in your opponent’s
chakra area. His other effect allows Raiga to get
+2/+2 while you have Ranmaru on the field.
Basically, if you can save Ranmaru, Raiga and him
are a deadly team. Chakra control could be a great
deck type as well. He also carries the Jonin rank to
make able to use amazing Water Jutsus.
Overall, I think he is solid, but
only in the right deck.
