3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Beastly Mage

Hayate Gekko [Detecting a Plan]

Today's card is one that sees play even outside of Fire/Fire Hybrid decks. He allows you to negate one mission your opponent plays and then at the end of the turn you discard him. Not a bad play. I mean, you normally only get to play one mission per turn, so chances are you'll be making your opponent not play a mission or waste it to get rid of Hayate. Either way you're the one that chooses what mission to negate. With 4 Combat and 1 Mental, he's a pretty decent Ninja.

Sissy Week is now Sissy Male Emo Week! And tomorrow it'll be Smokin' Male Emo Sissy Week (x2)! That's all true with the addition of Hyate Gekko [Detecting a Plan]!

Let's see now.... Nice turn 3 stats, poopy stats when injured COUGHCOUGH.. His effeCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHct is kinda like Addressing Past Wrongs in Mission Form. And we all know that Ninjas are better than Missions so.....

C: COUGHCOUGHCOUGH/5 (2)

L: 4/5

Art: Now, how much longer until Hyate stops coughing to announce the next match?

Next Time: Smoking should be illegal in all countries of the world, according to Greenspan.

Hayate Gekko

A 1-1 Negation similar to APW, in that it stays untilt he end of the turn. Use it during your opponent's turn, chump block, and you lose nothing, unless you chumped an ES. It has a decent 2 support, but it's other version has better support, if you need support and not Effect. Since most people run 5-6 missions, you can negate half of them if you run 3 and in limited, if you are lucky, your opponent might have 3 missions and you can negate them all.

The card of the day is Hayate Gekko (detecting a plan). He is a turn 3 ninja with 4/2 healthy and terrible injured stat of 1/1. His effect is that you can negate a mission if you kill him at the end of the turn. This card is not worth putting in any deck. His effect may not be used, and if you do use it the effect is not valid. So that means if your opponent plays a mission, you are getting rid of a 4/2 card, instead of a 1/1 card. Still, the combat it high for turn three and it has mental power one. It is also proctor, so it can be used for some jutsus. I wish it was valid, so it would be more playable. Tho other one ( judgement) has 3 support while healthy and a better effect in my opinion. Use the othe one, not this card.

Fire/ part fire; 3
Limited: 2
Art: The only thing is that this has better art then the other one

He's got great stats (healthy) making him a great ninja even if you never use his effect.
He can negate cards like The One who Inherits and Entrusts the Will, Naruto VS Sasuke, Reunion with a Former Teacher (QFP card) which will usually screw you over if they resolve.
There is a reason people have played 3 of him in their decks since Revenge and Rebirth. He is just plain awesome.
In limited, a good ninja that can negate Tide and crap. I'd pick him almost anytime.

Constructed: 5/5
Limited: 3.5/5
Art: I own 5 in diamond foil/5
