Festival

Good for a deck that relies on playing a lot of missions, or if you want to get any mission combos off. If you run more than the standard number of missions, and enough Earth cards to have one to discard (Clients are handy for this), you might try one of these out. The main things hurting it are that its discard is Earth and that your opponent also gets the effect.

Limited/Constructed: 2/5

Friday's card is Festival, an Earth Mission that lasts for Three Turns, is a Turn 3 Mission and allows both players to use up to two Missions a turn. It resembles an older card, Kakashi's Foresight except that Foresight lets you play two Missions a turn instead of your both players. The Foresight also never leaves play once it is out, making it superior to Festival for decks that utilize Missions, namely the Disaster decks using Disaster of the Nine-Tailed Fox. Festival can allow you to utilize Disaster of the Nine-Tailed Fox with After the Battle or other healing Missions. However, Kakashi's Foresight is a much better card and is a better option overall.

Happy Friday, Naruto Fans. Today's card is Festival. This mission let's you and your opponent use up to two missions in a turn for three turns. In limited, it's pretty good, but in constructed you'll see there are better cards from previous sets. Not much else to say.

Ajj

It’s Friday, and what do people do on Fridays, they go to festivals. After a glance at festival, my first reaction was piece-o-crap. I have not looked at it again. Festival is a god awful card that is way to situational to be of any use. For 3 turns, both players can use up to 2 missions to turn. Using two missions will annihilate your hand, (unless one is Sakura’s Decision or the One Who…) and since this card is a mission your already going to be down 2 cards. It can be good in certain situations where you can play Sakura’s Decision and say Chunin exam on the same turn, but usually it will just deplete your hand or turn into a crappy draw. Besides that, this card will often be better for your opponent. Overall Festival sucks, and fails to live up to its fun sounding name.

Recovery of the Village

Festival

Yipee! It's another partial permanent mission for earth again today. We are looking at Festival. It allows both players to use up to 2 Mission cards per turn for 3 turns. There are cards like this for other elements, but it won't always help you. This card will give your opponent the advantage since this is a mission, which means after you play it you can only play 1 more mission, while your
opponent can play 2. There aren't too many Double Mission combo's that would give you the advantage, and there's also not many times when you will have a load of missions in your hand. Like yesterday's card, I believe this card is a bit situational as well and it could lead to your opponent having the advantage over you when you're the person who played the card.

Ratings:

Constructed: Too Situational... 2/5
Limited: Same as Above 2/5
Art: Naruto is in his first real party!!! 4/5

Darth Sideous Out!
