Genma Shiranui
[Proctor for the Official Exam]

Card Number: N-143
Rarity - R

Review Date: 01.31.07

Average Card Rating: 3

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the worst.
3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Playdoh Dude Genma [Proctor for the Official Exam]

Wow! Three days in a row! Here we have Genma, one of the almost nameless Proctors. Why? Because they tell you his name once and never mention it again =P

Pros:
*Fire
*MP
*Searches

Cons:
*Special Jonin
*Low MP
*Searches for clients
*Only decent stats

Cons outweigh the pros. 1 MP can save you, but think of the huge MP you could get from SHikamaru [Smarty Pants]. SJ cards get the shaft, mainly because they can't use Jonin jutsu. Clients aren't that great, and only 1 or
2 good ones come from R&R.

COSTRUCTED: 2/5. If you're running low on Judgement Gekkos play him.
LIMITED: 2/5. His effect relies on pulling specific cards, which is never a good thing in Limited.
ART: XXXX I can't see the art right now, so I can't rate it......

Genma Shiranui [Proctor for the Official Exam]

Not bad. As we don't have too many three drops, he doesn't have much to contend with, except the other version of himself. Until we get some better clients, this guy won't see much play over his double.

3/5 constructed
4/5 sealed

N. Jolly

Genma Shiranui-Proctor for the Official Exam

The Good
-Average stats
-Good effect

The Bad
-Better turn 3 ninjas

It's the N., again here with another card from R&R, Gemna. Now this is a card that will get better as the game goes on and clients get better. What he does is allows you to search out any client from your deck and put them into play. While it'll probably only work once, it's quite worth it if you're playing a sand deck so that you can get out that much needed Lord of the Land of Sand and Wind. In most other decks though, he'll just be another turn 3. Thanks to Hayate(Judgement), fire doesn't need a ninja there, especially with one less support. If he was just a 4/3, then he'd be great in any deck that puts in clients just in case. But if your'e running a deck that needs a client out to function(For drawing, healing, or anything eles), then he's a staple

Constructed 3.5/5
Limited 4/5
Art 4/5 He's just a cool guy

Genma Shiranu

Well revenge and rebirth is certainly shaping up to be the best set ever.
Today COTH is even more support for Fire decks and with quite a useful effect.

Genma Shiranu
Symbol: Fire
Characteristics: Leaf | Special Jonin | Male | Mental Power: 1 Entrance Cost: 3 Hand Cost: 0 Combat Attribute: Ninjutsu Healthy Stats: 4/2 Injured Stats: 2/1
Effect:
. [Examiner of the Stage]
At the beginning of your turn, if you have no Clients in your Village, you can search for 1 Client in your deck and deploy it. Then, shuffle your deck.

Well for a turn 3 his stats are about average, he has a +1 metal power, which is always good, and then we come to his affect. Many people will overlook his effect because of the current clients available, but in R&R we are getting 6 new clients with effects like Futaba - every time you heal 1 of your injured ninjas, draw 1 card. This is a must in a 4th hokage deck.
Also there is Koji - every time you put a ninja in play by the effect of growth, draw 1 card.

However this card does have its down side. Mainly it's weak injured stats and if it is around turn 5-7 you might want a better effect then deploying a

client.

My advice is if you play with or are going to play clients this is the card for you, especially with the new clients, which give you free cards. This has a lot of potential.

Constructed: 3.5/5
Limited: 4/5
Art: 4/5 (ah, my favourite proctor)
