Gentle Fist Style: 8 Trigrams 64 Palms

Strict requirement jutsus are never good, and this one gives you two ninjas to choose from, a double colored requirement cost, and only a 50/50 chance of getting anything for it. It also happens to be Earth, the least supported element as of now. Granted, you could get two or more damage, but I don't like to leave things up to chance.

2/5 constructed
3/5 limited (lack of other damage jutsus)

Bringing a close to our first R & R reviews, we take a look at one of the newest supers:

Gently First Style: 8 Trigrams 64 Palms-Super Rare Earth Jutsu; Costs: Earth-Earth
Requirements: "Neji Hyuga" or "Byakugan" + "An Entrance cost of 4 or more"
Target: 1 Ninja Battling against the user
Effect: Flip a Ninja Blade coin; if it;s heads, give 1 Damage to the target. Then, keep selecting another target and applying this effect until you get tails.

Already, I love and hate this card. Now, odd as that sounds, I've got my reasons. First off, the good side to this card is that it's exclusive to the 'Byakugan" clan and has a decent cost, of just 2 Earth Chakras. My love/hate for this card starts at the effect. As seen with the costly "Primary Lotus" from the Curse of the Sand set, the first flip decides it all. If you pull off a heads, it gives 1 Damage to any Ninja of your choosing, the Team that opposes you. This effect is decent, and I don't mind it. However, I dislike the second part of it's effect, not the one stating that you can keep flipping and applying the Damage effect till ya get tails. It;s the fact that you must keep the target's limited to the Team Battling against you. This card's gonna see play in Byakugan and some Taijutsu decks, but it would see more play, if the effect granted you some leeway, by letting you choose ANY other one of your opponent's Ninjas.

Constructed: 3/5 (Decent enough)
Limited: 4/5 (See your own luck for consult)
Art: 2/5 (There are much better pics for this, sadly, later on in the Naruto episodes)

Well we continue our revenge and rebirth week with our first super rare from

the set.

Symbol: Earth
Cost: Earth | Earth
Requirements: ''Neji Hyuga'', ''Byakugan'' + ''Entrance cost 4 or more''
Target: 1 Ninja Battling against the user.
Effect: Flip a Ninja Blade coin. If it's heads, give 1 damage to the target.

Then, keep selecting another target and applying this effect until you get a

tails.

.Wow. It requires Neji with Byakugan + entrance cost 4 or more and it is a 50/50 chance that you will be able to give 1 damage to the target. The advantage of this card is that you have a chance to damage all the ninjas on

your opponent's team(s).

However there are just too many requirements and when it comes down to it if

you are lucky you will be able to damage 1 or 2 ninjas at best. But if you flip a tails on your first go then it would just be a waste of a card and chakra. My advice would be to stay clear of this card. There are better cards out there.

Constructed: 1/5
Limited: 1/5
Art: 4/5
