High-Speed Body

Well we all hope everyone had a good weekend. We start off the week with a soon-to-be very popular card.

The good things about this card are that it is turn 2. It is a fire card. It

is also a permanent mission card and its effect of discarding a card to draw

a card is very, very useful because it is a 1 for 1.

However it does have Specific requirement, you must have a ninja in play with Sharingan eye.

My advice is that if you play a fire deck (which will have 3 Sasukes and 3 kakashis as standard) make sure they all do have Sharingan eye and stick a couple of these in so you will have a better chance in drawing something good when you need it most.

3 days till the all new, refreshing series - NARUTO: Shippuu-den (Hurricane
Chronicles) in Japan!!

Constructed: 4/5 (fire deck)
Limited: 4/5
Art: 4.5/5 (quite a good picture of Sasuke)

Welcome back Naruto fans, With only a week until the release of Revenge & Rebirth, we've been reviewing cards from the upcomeing set like we're crazy! Today isn't any different. We'll be reviewing a Mission card titled "High Speed Body".

High Speed Body
Type: Mission
Attribute: Fire
Turn: 2
Cost: 1
Permanent

Effect: If you have one or more Ninja with "Sharingan Eye" in play, you can discard 1 card from your hand at the beginning of your turn to draw 1 card.

Hmmm, Not to shabby. Draw power is always a good thing. But once you realize that you have to "discard" the card instead of charge it to your Chakra the playability of the card diminishes quite a bit and seeing how you have to have a character with "Sharingan Eye" in play (Which shouldn't be to difficult) makes it even more difficult to play.

Constructed: 3 / 5 (Sakura [Kunoichi Pride] is MUCH better, with the release of so many more Female Ninja she'll be seeing much more play than she has in the past)

Limited: 1.5 / 5 (Pulling a Sasuke or Kakashi really shouldn't be to difficult in a Draft or Sealed deck tournament. If you manage to get one along with a Sharingan Eye user you should definately use it)

Artwork: 2 / 5 (Mediocre..Nothing to great)

If you have any questions or comments reguarding my reviews or about the Naruto TCG in general, feel free to e-mail me at Uber_Ltachi@yahoo.com (Yes, L tachi) or PM me on the pojo forum under the same name.

Stay frosty Naruto fans!
