Now, I'm not sure about this, but it sounds like the mental bonus stays after the mission goes away. In which case, this card is great for a mental power deck, as it lets any ninja have a mental power of three, an improvement for anyone other than Shikamaru or Sakura. Since mental power decks still aren't that great though, it will be a while before it sees play. If I was wrong and the coins do dissappear with the card, then it probably will see even less play.

Constructed: 3/5 if first case, 2/5 if second

Limited: 1/5; no cards to start mental battles (I think)

P.S.: I don't think there were enough people in the world when Naruto was set for anyone to have an IQ of over 200...

Closing out the week, we take a look at a rather cool card:

Hidden Capacity-Common Earth Mission; Costs: 3-1
Permanent (3) Target: 1 of your Ninjas
Effect: Attach this card to the target. The original Mental Power of the target becomes 0. Place a Ninja Blade coin symbolizing +1 Mental Power on the target at the end of each of your turns.

Mmmm, the card's effect is cool, letting you basically give any Ninja, Mental Power capabilities, but it takes too long a time for it to work. Maybe with the right combo of cards, something could be worked out, but in the long run, Mental decks really just aren't seeing that much play as of late.

Constructed: 2/5
Limited: 2/5
Art: 2/5

Hidden Capacity

Well, this is a card that mental power decks will want.

Symbol: Earth
Entrance Cost: 3
Hand Cost: 1
Target: 1 of your Ninjas
Effect: Permanent (3)
. Attach this card on the target. The original Mental Power becomes of the target becomes 0. Place a ninja blade coin symbolizing +1 mental power on the target at each of your turns.

This will be good with Temari analytical mind that we reviewed last week. It

gives +1 mental power at the end of each of your turns for 3 turns so in total a mental power of 3. It is turn 3 which is ok, not great but still playable. If you play a mental deck then you can give a ninja with 0 mental power +3 after 3 turns.

However Sakura Haruno [Determination] starts with 3 mental power. So this card would be mainly used to support other cards. The main problem with this

card is that it will be turn 6 before they have +3 mental power. The other problem is that it is earth, which isn't the best symbol.

My advice is if you play a mental deck, try running 3 of these cards and use

them on your ninjas with 0 mental power so you get the full potential of this card. Also it would be a good idea to keep a couple of these cards in your side deck if you play earth for when/if you play against a mental deck.

Constructed: 4/5 (mental power deck only)
Limited: 4/5
Art: 3/5 (Shikamaru finding his strong point)

Uber ltachi

Welcome back Pojo veiwers, Today is my second day being a COTD reviewer. I hope you enjoyed my last review on Sasuke [Beyond the Limits]. I also hope I gave you a better insight onto why he's not as good as everyone is saying. :)

Anywho, onto today's card:

Hidden Capacity

Type: Mission

Attribute: Earth

Entrance Cost: 3

Hand Cost: 1

Permanent (3)

Target: One of your Ninjas.

Effect: Attach this card to the target. The original Mental Power of the target becomes 0. Place a Ninja Blade coin symbolizing +1 Mental Power on the target at the end of each of your turns.

Constructed:

I wouldn't even bother with this card, not even in a Mental Power deck. Most Mental Power decks tend to have Ninja with 2 - 4 Mental Power anyway, Why would you want to lower their Mental Power to 0 only to give them +1 Mental Power each turn when they should already have 2 or more? If your thinking that you'll just use it on a Ninja with 0 Mental Power as a side-board card against Mental Power decks..why not just use Shikamaru [Smarty Pants]? He comes equipped with 4 Mental Power to begin with. If this card didn't have the "lower the targets Mental Power to 0" effect, it wouldn't be half bad.

Stay away from this card in Constructed, not worth the time even in a Mental Power deck.

Limited:

If you happen to pull anything that can initiate a Mental Battle, you could consider useing this card. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with it. There's a reason they made it Common and not a rare people. ;)

Artwork:

Well, it's Shikamaru doing what he's good at. Thinking. Although nothing spectacular.

Overall:

Constructed: 1 / 5 normal constructed, 2 / 5 in a Mental Power deck. Nothing good here.

Limited: 1 / 5, Dont bother. 2 / 5 if you happen to get anything that can initiate a Mental battle.

Artwork: 1 / 5, nothing spectacular. Shikamaru thinking..
