Hidden Chakra

Wow. That is a lot of chakra. Not only do all of your discarded ninjas come back as fuel (the double-lightning Naruto, anyone?) but at the end of the turn, all of your opponent's chakra goes down the drain. Cards like these are why I keep saying Lightning is so good at charging chakra; once you use this, you can use just about any jutsu you want to without worrying about chakra. Unfortunately, you're left without chakra as well, so your opponent gets one jutsu-free turn, but still an amazing card.

Limited/Constructed: 4.6/5

Beastly Mage

Hidden Chakra (M-US004)

Today's card is one that can be useful late game. This turn-5 card makes both players move any ninjas in their discard piles to the chakra area. At the end of the turn all the chakra is discarded. I've seen it work. It's pretty good, particularly when you have a really expensive (more than three symbol) jutsu in hand or something else, but you have to know when to use it.

Today is yet another mission day. We are reviewing the mission Hidden Chakra. Turn 5 that allows you to move any number of ninja in your discard pile to chakra. Then at the end of the turn all chakra from both players is discarded. That right there can be game breaking. You have no chakra and your opponent has enough to hit you with trigram or vortex, they can say by to that ability to use the chakra. It looks like a fun little card.

Limited 3/5
