3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

dust2dust Sasuke Uchiha [Power of the Curse Mark]

Pro:
-fire element
-sharingan eye

Con:
-turn 2
-ability

Yeah, it's a start of a new month, and it seems like we are back to where we started, with Sasuke again. This one looks cool, but not so useful.

General-
This Sasuke has the most entrance cost so far, but there are other copies in the future that has even more entrance cost, lets stick to this one for now.

Being fire, he is part of one of the best element in the game so far. He also has Sharlingan Eye so he can use the card that requires it. For now, that not very important. When more ninja that has Sharingan come out, cards that require Sharingan Eye will be better. Again for now, Sharingan Eye is not that important.

It is the ability of this card that I really don't like this card. If you discard a battle award, his attack increase by 2. This effect basically says "if you have one battle award, put it in your opponent's chakra to potentially get 2." That’s pretty sad. Besides being in a disadvantage, you are also giving you opponent chakra. It's true that it is only one, but that could mean a world of difference. He might just get the one water he needs to play vortex jutsu and win the game.

I'm not a fan of this card, but if you like it, by no means, play it for fun.

Conclusion: 2.0/5
Limited: 1.3/5

Alright. I know I gotta do it, but here we go again. Today we Review Sasuke Uchiha [Power of the Curse Mark]

Sasuke Uchiha
Leaf/Genin/Male/Sharingan Eye
2 Turn Cost, 0 Hand Cost
3/0 Healthy
1/0 Injured

[Power of the Curse Mark]
During the Exchange of Jutsu, you can move 1 of your Battle rewards to it's original owner's Chakra area. Then, this Ninja gets a +2/+0 during this turn.

Alright, I don't need to go into it, but we all know that I don't like Sasuke. Emo like whoa. But. I have to give respect where it is diserved. And this card diserves respect. While it is a toss up between not likeing the effect, and liking it, it does have it's pluses and minuses... Let's take a look.

On the one hand, while you sac the Battle Reward that you had to earn and was likely not handed to you on a platter, you do get to boost this shinobi to a 5/0. That's some hard hitting power. Along with it, he can use Sharingan Eye, Triple Windmill, Pheonix Flower Jutsu, and my personal Favorite, Fireball. Not because of it's fireballness, but for: Katon! Gokakyu no Jutsu!

The main thing that I don't like about this card is the fact that his power works on Battle Rewards. They also can't stack, which would make him broken. Which is a good thing. The effect also isn't Valid, which would have made him Super Rare worthy if it was.

Constructed: 4/5 as long as you are using a Fire Deck with lots of his Jutsus.

Limited: 3/5 as he needs some support.

Art: It's sasuke. We've been over this too many times... I won't even go here.

And props to D-Hero for making me actually look at the card. Damn him.... You just had to make me look at it, didn't you!

Beastly Bruin Sasuke Uchiha [Power of the Curse Mark]
Element: Fire
Power: 3/0 (Healthy) 1/0 (Injured)
Turn: 2
Leaf | Genin | Male | Sharingan Eye

Effect: During the exchange of jutsu, you can move 1 of your battle rewards to the owner's chakra area. Then, this ninja gets +2/+0 this turn.

Ehh...I'm extremely up-in-the-air about returning hard earned Battle Rewards. If you're playing a skilled opponent, you probably forfeited a lung for the BR's that you've amassed (all two of them).

Bottom line, there are better options for Sasuke users. Heck, I'd run Open Your Eyes over this.

This card is even a hard sell for limited, unless you absolutely need the extra firepower.

Constructed: 2/5
Limited: 2.5/5
Art: 2/5 (He's eyeing his hand like it has doodie on it.) (Wait...did I just say doodie?)
(Hey Lois, diarrhea...heh heh heh...)

Apprentice of Anubis

Finally, we wrap up the week with one of my favorite cards, Sasuke Uchiha [Power of the Curse Mark].

Sasuke Uchiha
Entry Cost: 2 | Hand Cost: 0
Leaf | Genin | Male | Sharingan Eye
[Power of the Curse Mark]
During the Exchange of Jutsu, you can move 1 on your Battle Rewards to its original owner’s Chakra area. Then, this Ninja gets +2/+0 during this turn.
“In fact, I’ve never felt better.”

Pros:
Chunin level Offensive power.
Unlike some Sasuke cards, he actually has SOME attack while Injured.
Decent Entry Cost for his effect.
Excellent Late-Game card.
Sharingan Eye built in.

Cons:
Really is meant to be a lead ninja only.
Need to give up battle rewards for his effect.
No support power
Prime target for Escape Jutsu and Shadow Leaf Dance.
Effect isn’t Valid.

This card can be AWESOME in almost any deck (Primarily, Fire/Sharingan Control.), plus the fact that he can become anywhere’s from a 5/0 to a 21/0 (3+[2X18] for those who actually went through algebra.) is GODLY when you think about the fact that he can take down a team of the Third, Kakashi and Zabuza together on his own. (Yes, I did borrow that example from another reviewer on the Escape Jutsu review…Just go with it.)

Though, that’s not to say he doesn’t have his down sides. For one, he as 0 support power, basicly making him a Lead Ninja by default, and on top of that, you need to give up some of your win condition to use him properly. (Battle Rewards) On top of that, he’s a prime target for Escape Jutsu and Shadow Leaf Dance, which hurts his playability a little seeing as, from what I’ve heard now, Escape Jutsu’s becoming a little more popular because of Sexy Jutsu and the likes. On top of all that, his effect isn’t valid, meaning that when he’s injured, he’s just a useless 1/0 that can be easily overpowered.

Over-all, the pro’s out-weight the Con’s a little, so in short, if you have this guy, give ‘em a try. He can by PRETTY useful in a tight situation.

Limited: 4/5 (For God’s sake, if you get this card in one of the booster packs that you get, GRAB HIM!)

Constructed: 4/5 (Very good card, but just BARELY scrapes the Staple region of the card game.)

Art: 5/5 (What can I say…I’m a sucker for evil looking bad boys.)

Sasuke Power of the Curse Mark

A well-balanced, very good card. Lose a battle reward to give him +2; an ability that allows him to grow powerful enough lategame to conquer almost anything, with a potential of +18 gain. However, you do give your opponent chakra, and there are cards to negate attack bonuses. 2 turn cost for 3/0 1/0 isn't great, and he has no mental power, but he does have the sharingan and a flame attribute. This is the best Sasuke so far.

Constructed/Limited: 4.5/5 Where 5 is a very good card, but not extremely broken.

Art: 3.5/5 I would have liked him better with a purple aura or glowing curse mark.

Rakath

Sasuke Uchiha [Power of the Curse Mark]

Well then, Sasuke at Turn 2. Naruto and Sasuke are starting on the long run up to high turn counts from now on. 3/0 - 1/0 isn't too good for a Turn 2, Flame is nothing new, Sharingan built in is nothing new. His effect is not one you want to overuse. If you're in a pinch it'll save your behind from death, or lead you into death.

See, thing is that generally your Rewards are THEIR cards, so you're not just lowering your winning edge, but giving them free chakra molding. Sometimes you'll need +2/+0 per reward, but I wouldn't wanna rely on this trick as a way to win. You can take your rewards off your own deck, and then this ability is basically cutting off your right arm to save your left arm. You gain chakra but lose winning edge. If you want to play this risky gambit, go for it.

Sasuke Uchiha rating - 2/5 (Still there is better out there.)
Constructed (Fire) - 3/5 (If you really wanna play the edge, go for it. I run one, it's fun.)
Limited - 4/5 (You got less resources, so any edge you have, even this death sentence, is worth it.)
Art - 4/5 (Man those tattoos are cool!)
