Our next card from our theme is the new Shino. Many people like Shino for his mysterious ways and awkward appearance, but this version shows his powers within.

If you use growth on Shino, not only is he powered up, he also let you draw a card from the bottom of your deck. A wield effect that could proof useful if you just used cards like Orochimaru or Gekkou Hayate, but it is still good even by itself.

It’s true that it make sense making him a turn 1 because of growth, but if you draw him and not any turn 0, you’ll be in a disadvantage. There are better turn 1 drops then Shino.

Bottom line is if you don’t have anything good going with him, don’t bother with Shino. Hopefully we’ll see some other versions that suits his characteristics better.

Beastly Bruin Shino Aburame [True Ace In The Hole]

Finally, another Shino. I like him. He has the whole Growth mechanic thing going on, which could help out in a few situations. But it's his effect that is the kicker. The combo potential of this card and cards like Orochimaru screams for a deck build.

However, he's not really too much better than the initial 0-drop. If you already run multiple Shinos, sub 1 or 2 out to try this one out, but it's effect and Growth dynamic are only as good as the situations you use them in.

Of course, if you drop the vanilla Shino on turn 0, and on turn one you have this card and Dosu, you know what you should do...bottom line, be careful and don't be so quick to waste your turn deployment on Growth just because you can.
