This is
certainly one of the most unique characters in
the game. It's the only creature that
can't attack. It's stats are decent, but
not all THAT great for a 6 drop. Why would
you play it? Oh yeah, that's right -
because he's a beatstick. Who cares if it
can attack - all your army Sentiels get +2 ATK -
they're doing his work for him. Oh yeah,
and speaking of army sentinel cards, you're
gonna have a LOT of them. The ability to
start putting a whole bunch of these into play
with the ability is pretty sick.
The bottom line is
you're gonna overwhelm your opponent pretty darn
fast with this guy on the board.
In limited, total
junk. No purpose at all - no way you'll
have enough good sentinels to make it playable.
I need to make
sure people understand my rating on this card
for constructed. A rating is based on the
likelyhood that a card could be used in a deck.
Obviously, you're not going to splash Master
Mold in your X-Men deck. In your Sentinel
deck, though, he's required - bottom line

So a lot of people are ordering Sentinel
cards. But haven't seen any in tournaments
yet. They are just too weak and can't while
they can do some interesting things, their
downfalls are too great to make them
worthwhile. I dunno. Scott seems to disagree
with me on this one. He may be right, but
from everything I've seen, while you can make
an interesting deck, you can't make a
competitive one. This may be more for the
casual crowd.
In limited, this guy sucks some serious
butt. Don't bother.

What, you can't attack with him. Why does he
have range then?
My crystal ball is hazy but I have a feeling
this guy will get better as more sets come
out. This guy has a fairly descent size butt
to get in the way, but not aggressive enough.
When we first started to get orders for this
game it looked like most people were playing
sentinels, but as it stands now I haven't seen
a good deck with them yet. Key word being YET.
He is a key card to the deck, but again there
needs to be a good deck first.
In limited he is almost useless. You need to
be more aggressive and not defensive, plus his
ability most likely wont be used at all.

hmmm… yummy
Actually I don’t know what to say about this guy
because I tested Sentinels a while back and
wasn’t too happy about them. I did try to build
the deck around him and that might be why it
didn’t work out too well. His stats are a bit
below average for a 6 drop and I can only wonder
why does he have range. 0.o
Anywho, he could be really good… in theory but I
haven’t been able to find a decent deck w/ him.
I still say he’s a Sliver Queen.

Here you probably won’t get to a lot of
Sentinels which makes this guy rather bad. Yeah,
no sentinels = don’t even bother.

Master Mold, Sentinel Supreme --
I have been on the receiving end of a Master Mold who was helping out five
Wild Sentinels, three Sentinel, Mark I, one Sentinel, Mark II, and two
Sentinel, Mark IVs...and it was not pretty. Oh, and about half of those
came into play that turn. Thanks, Master Mold.
Needless to say, I lost that game due to the two extremely good abilities
attached to Master Mold: the ability to trick characters into play and the
boost given to all the Sentinels that were staring at me (and a well-timed
Reconstruction Program, but that's beside the point). Thus, I am a bit
inclined to give Master Mold a very good rating. 'Nuff said.
However, on the limited side of the game, you had better have a LOT of
Sentinels to be playing this guy; otherwise, he's awful.
