Well, the first time I picked up Goblin Sharpshooter, I... ignored it.
Sure, it was a goblin,
but I'd rather have a goblin matron in my deck than this guy. Heck, (I thought), it was even worse than a Prodigical Sorcerer! A few weeks later I bought it for no reason in particular, and it was well worth the 7 dollars.

Goblin Sharpshooter
2R
Creature

Goblin Sharpshooter doesn't untap during your untap phase.

Whenever a creature goes into a graveyard, untap Goblin Sharpshooter.

Tap: Goblin Sharpshooter deals one damage to target creature or player.

So, whats so good about this card?
Well, the idea is that this creature can untap as many times as you want it in a turn.
The thing to do is "Use the power of The Stack". If they want to Terror a guy of yours, make sure you declare that you "ping 'em for 1" right after. The ability will go on the stack, and your Goblin will untap. It's most powerful when you play it in a goblin deck with cards such as Goblin Sledder, Skirk Prospector, Siege-Gang Commander, and so on.

This card, needless to say, kills white weenie decks easily. Destroy that dude, untap. Destroy that dude, untap, etc..

In a goblin deck, your goblins are always willing to die if they destroy a foe, because you'll always have more goblins to replace them. You have a 1/1 against a 2/2 blocker? Just hit the
2/2 with your shooter on the combat damage step before they collide.

Up against a Wrath of God? This is the time when your shooter and your sledder are the most useful. Let's say you have 7 goblins in play, including Goblin Sharpshooter and Goblin Sledder. The guy casts Wrath of god. Here's what you do. Tap your shooter, then sacrifice a goblin to your sledder. Then hit 'em with your sharpshooter again. Sac a goblin, tap. Sac a goblin, tap. When your only left with your shooter and sledder, sac your sledder to make shooter a 2/2, and ping them again. In the end, you'll have dealt 7 damage to your opponent before the Wrath resolved.

To end off, Goblin Sharpshooter rules.
