Blue/Black

Ahh, spring. The time when White mages carefully nurture daisies and lilies'and Black mages use Zombies to trample the flowerbed and help themselves to Goody Two Shoes Soup.

Unfortunately, no one sent me a Zombie deck to tune up. Instead, I get my favorite color combination, Blue Black.

This deck is a variant of Nether-Go and Eye-Go.  Their arent that many changes Im going to make to the deck, since the build is solid. I will pull the Wall of Air, since the only flyers that can hurt you are Blinding Angel, which is easily countered and Nightwind Glider, which is easily Washed Out.

Speaking of Wash Out, this is an AMAZING card. I would venture to call it the Blue Wrath of God. It can do all sorts of tempo damage, and it is a great reset button.

Heres a small change: Opt over Brainstorm. Ive found in testing that Brainstorm is only better in decks that have a lot of shuffeling going on, like Tradewind Survival.  Otherwise, Opt is strictly superior since it digs deeper rather than sticking you with the same useless cards.

Finally, Plague Spitter is just not much of a finishing card. I can see why he is used, but I think Thrashing Wumpus gets the point across better. Plague Spitter is better if you fear Rebels and other annoying weenies, but for the long haul, Wump wins. Im assuming you are looking at a metagame of weenies since you are using them, so Ill just add Avatar of Woe, but be sure to play around Bribery.

Probe is there because it helps abuse the Agenda/Ritual that are in the deck. Cast with kicker, it can be a huge threat against a control deck that is carefully stocking up cards.

3 Yagmoth's Agenda
4 Dark Ritual
4 Undermine
4 Glacial Wall
4 Fact or fiction
4 Opt
2 Probe
4 Counter Spell
4 Wash Out
3 Plague Spitter
1 Avatar of Woe
4 Salt Marshes
4 Underground River
8 Swamp
8 Island

Heres to good providence in the JSS!

Oh yeah, anyone who has seen the Seventh Edition spoiler knows that mono black will rule with this deck:

May As Well Have Been a Preconstructed Deck.dec

4 Vampiric Tutor
4 Viscious Hunger

4 Duress
4 Dark Ritual (Still in Mercadian)

4 Corrupt
4 Soul Feast
1 Soul Burn
4 Necrolgia

1 Nether Spirit
1 Yawgmoths Agenda
1 Snuff Out
1 Persecute
1 Perish
1 Massacre
1 Chimeric Idol

19 Swamp
4 Rishadan Port
1 Dust Bowl

Sideboard:
4 Phyrexian Scuta
1 Persecute
2 Perish
1 Massacre
2 Nether Spirit
1 Cursed Totem

Yeah! Now thats a deck! Notice how much better Persecute is now that Gold cards are all over the place. The whole One ofs' strategy is easily tutorable and drawable thanks to the amazing Necrolgia. (Now 50% less broken)
The deck should be able to handle anything. What would a pseudo Necro deck look like without Yawgmoth? I fully expect to see someone break this deck. Oh, and notice the Rex Tech in the board accomplishing exactly what Negator would be doing.

Until Mishra is revealed to be Crovax in disguise in an attempt to lure Gerrad (cleverly wearing a Squee mask) into the lair of a Volrath look alike held in control by a spinal cord made by Sisay to keep Tangarth away from the seven layer burritos which are kept sacred by Karn dressed as Ertai wearing a Gix shirt and flirting with some Priest of Titania behind Multanis back'.well, you get the idea'Make Mine Magic.
