This can bail you out of a sticky situation for just two mana. Board wipe coming? This stops it. Lots of negative targeting effects? This also stops it.  It protects all of your permanents, not just the creatures, which gives this a lot of utility.

There’s not a ton to say about this card; it's simple and not extremely flashy, but it's the kind of card that does a lot of work and pulls its weight splendidly. If you need to protect your board against a lot of wipes, this will do it; just about the only thing it can't stop is mass exile, like Descend Upon the Sinful, or a massive -X/-X spell, like Yahenni's Expertise, but no card is perfect.

So it's just a universal version of Ranger's Guile. You guys know how to play with Ranger's Guile, right? It doesn't change a battle of instants so much more than Ranger's Guile, but I think it's often better for multiplayer and Commander settings. People routinely play things like Decimate and Hex, so that there are actual reasons to want to make more than one thing untargetable for a similar cost.
