Card of the Day Reviews

Welcome back readers todays card of the day is Predatory Sliver the strict upgrade to Muscle Sliver. The +1/+1 granted from a two mana lord is incredibly relevant and a powerful. In standard this card is a cornerstone of any aggressive sliver decks as it provides tons of aggression and an essential piece for slivers. In modern this card provides a cheap and effective way to boost slivers making it pretty much an auto include in any sliver tribal decks. In legacy this replaces muscle sliver and gives sliver decks a one sided boost. In casual and multiplayer this is a strict upgrade to muscle sliver or could be ran in conjunction with allowing sliver decks to have twice as many lord effects making it easy to swarm the board early with powerful creatures. In limited it’s a 2/2 for two mana making it playable in green and a lynchpin if you are drafting around slivers. Overall a powerful yet specialized card that will see play from tourney to kitchen tables.

Today's card of the day is Predatory Sliver which is a two mana Green
1/1 that gives all of your slivers +1/+1. This is a very solid card that alongside Manaweft Sliver form the core of a standard sliver tribal deck. As a 2/2 for two with no other slivers in play it is reasonable and in any format where slivers are competitive will likely include a playset for the efficiency it offers.

In Limited this is at worst a Grizzly Bear and is a worthwhile addition to any Green deck, with or without support as it can easily attract removal in anticipation of other slivers. Alongside a sliver theme this is naturally a great card and a strong second or third pick in Booster in addition to being an automatic maindeck for Green in Sealed.

It's essentially a 2/2 sliver that makes all of your slivers a little bit bigger.
If you're making a sliver deck this needs to be in it.
In drafts a couple of these and a couple of Hive Stirrings are a force to be reckoned with.
This is also the first card I noticed that the wording changed from "All Slivers" to "All Slivers you control" thus putting an end to the silliness that occurs in classic Sliver vs Sliver battles.

Today we are reviewing the Predatory Sliver.

Predatory Sliver gives ‘your’ slivers the extra muscle to hunt down enemies. If you are brave enough to run Slivers in Standard tournaments then there is a good chance that you’ll need Predatory Sliver. Look at it this way. How often will you come across a 2/2 for 2 mana that buffs fellow creature types? Not very often. Predatory Sliver is a common that has high value. This becomes evident when drafting M14. Predatory Sliver can easily find a home in old Sliver decks. Overall, Predatory Sliver is a great card for Sliver players.
