Scavenger Drake

There are several creatures in Alara designed to work together with Jund's devour mechanic. Scavenger Drake may be one of the best - there's nothing more frustrating than a gigantic creature that never damages anyone. It's a little expensive and a little fragile on its own, and will most likely be passed over for constructed; but with the right support, it can tear up limited matches.

Scavenger Drake

Constructed: I really like this dude. For four mana it is small, so it can be killed easily. It pairs well with Puppet Conjurer. Just keep it alive long enough to make him really big. It flys.

Casual: It becomes the life of the party of multi-player games. The more creatures that die the bigger it will get.

Limited: Great pick for black. It's small size makes it a easy kill. But if they cannot kill it than it can get big enough to become a real threat.

Overall a okay creature for it's cost and being a uncommon.

Whenever another creature is put into a graveyard from play, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Scavenger Drake.

I'm divided on this. In constructed this clearly is way to slow. In limited however this COULD be good. Two creatures in the grave and this becomes pretty good, more and its becoming a good beater. However that's the stumbling block. You need to wait for those creatures to hit the grave. I guess if your opponent doesn't have any fliers you can swing over in the meantime, but its still overcosted regardless. In multiplayer this can get very large very quickly.
