Mercy Killing

It's a green card that can kill a creature without needing it to attack or block.  And it can deal with regeneration and indestructibility.  Get your playset now while they're still being printed, because you know it's never getting reprinted.

Constructed- 4.5

Casual- 4.9

Limited- 4.9

Friday - Mercy Killing

This is noteworthy because it's a green removal spell. The controller does get a bunch of 1/1s out of the deal, but if you're playing with big green fatties, they generally have trample, and won't be able to do too much. This requires a pretty specialized deck to take full advantage of; don't just throw it into some random green or (especially) white deck and expect it to help out much.

In limited, this is more useful, because you can use it to take out a big threat, and it gets around regeneration.

Green creature removal? What the heck? Yeah, they get a bunch of little guys to stall with, but you're playing green. Just stomp over the top of them. You don't see cards like this very often, so take advantage of it while you can.

I don’t like this card much in constructed. There are ways to dispose of your opponent’s creatures without giving them additional creatures. In limited, your options aren’t as open and this card’s value increases. You can also kill one of you own creatures, preferably with damage already on the stack, in order to get some extra troops.

Mercy Killing

Constructed: Not a good card for constructed. Need other cards to combo off with. Still has some play ablitity.

Casual: Fun card for green and whites removable. Get more elves out there for Wellwisher.

Limited: Draft it okay.  Sealed deck it could be used with Blowfly Infestation. Get a -1/-1 counter on one of their big fatty and then just use Mercy Killing and watch the elves fall.... It happen to me.

Overall are good card with alot of playablity. Should see some serious fun play.
