Runed Halo

Immunity from any one creature or any one spell that targets a player.  It'll be in a lot of sideboards to be sure, but maindecked?  You'd better know what you're opponent has got.  In multiplayer groups, it could be the perfect antidote for when everybody's got a playset of Darksteel Colossus, or when you know your friend is depending on spells like Ire of Kaminari or Neverending Torment.  In a tournament environment, where your opponent is chosen for you, leave it in the sideboard.

Tuesday - Runed Halo

An interesting spin on Meddling Mage and Pithing Needle. This is a good card against a combo deck that wants to end the game using a Blaze/Demonfire type spell (or against Dragonstorm). Other than that, there aren't a heck of a lot of uses. Most of the time, I think I would rather have Ivory Mask. In casual, though, this is good to stall against huge fatties until you can find a better way to deal with them.

In limited, maybe you can bring it in from the side if they have a big bomb, but don't maindeck this.

Runed Halo

Reminds me of Meddling Mage, but it doesn't get killed quite as easily. It also can't stop things like Enduring Ideal which don't actually target or damage you. Still, if Demonfire, Seismic Assault, or Dragonstorm (name Bogardan Hellkite) see play where you live, definitely consider using Runed Halo in decks.

Runed Halo

This card may prove to be a good answer against combo (Bogardan Hellkite, Grapeshot, etc) or token cards. Sideboard at best right now, though. In limited, its function is so narrow that it will prove almost entirely useless.

Runed Halo

Constructed: Somebody will use it in their sideboard for the awesome rogue deck. It's a story circle, Ivory Mask, True Believer, and Meddling Mage for 1 named card. Block could find a home for it.

Casual: Most players use highlander decks and fun decks and sometimes they only play one game instead the best of 3. Unless they are sick and tired of one stupid card that ruins their day every Tuesday night at their friends house.

Limited: Could be sided in to stop one of your opponents major bombs. There is not much enchantment hate in Shadowmoor and there are alot of great enchantments in this set it will hard to decide when to use your removable if you have any.

Overall a okay card, will spend alot of time in the old trade binders around the world.
