Akroma, Angel of Wrath

When I first saw Akroma years ago when she was originally printed, I started
reading the list of capabilities and quickly stopped. "I get it," I thought,
"Akroma has the ability called EVERYTHING-that-any-creature-has-ever-been-able-to-do!" Well, Akroma is back, and even though she does NOT have Suspend, or Morph or any kind of Affinity, she is just as powerful as ever. In limited games where she appears, she is represents a virtual GAME OVER for your opponent. In constructed, she is just as good as the last time you played her. Akroma is just plain fat, in only the best ways.

CONSTRUCTED: 4.0
CASUAL: 4.0
LIMITED: 4.5

Time Spiral is a bit of a slow format. That means you could actually hit eight mana in the course of a game. Of course, Resurrection got timeshifted too, so you barely even need eight mana. She's probably never been easier to get out, and when she does, you basically win automatically. Congratulations.

Constructed- 4
Casual- 5
Limited- 3.5

Akroma, Angel of Wrath

There are few other things that say ‘game over’ as well as Akroma. She’s a flying, trampling, first-striking, vigilant, invulnerable-to-removal angel! What’s not to love about her? White Control and Reanimator will bring Akroma back into the Constructed fold quickly, especially when her wonderful friend Resurrection is in this set as well. Say hi to the new face of endgame.

Constructed: 3.9
Casual: 5
Limited: 3

Akroma, Angel of Wrath- Rare- Time Shifted

Well, what is there to say about Ms. Keyword here? well she is big, hard to kill, fast, big, and hard to kill, did I mention big? In any reanimator deck akroma is usually the first card that most people choose to be their target of choice, and for all those reasons I listed above (I did put big right?). She is also pretty popular in U/W control builds as a finisher, but I personally prefer sacred mesa over her because you can play it earlier, but as always she will hold a place in my heart for being such an awsome angel.

Ratings:
constructed- 4/5 She has uses in all formats
casual- 5/5 she is big and mean, very fun casual card, inspecially for T4
limited- 4/5 Crazy good card in this format it attacks and blocks at the same time

Akroma, Angel of Wrath

Basically, if she gets out, you win the game. Getting her out can be the tough part though. There's not a lot to say about her, as she pretty much speaks for herself. She's almost impossible to deal with once she hits the table. Good for casual too, as she's big, popular, and there are plenty of ways to get her out (Oath of Druids, anyone?)

In limited, duh. You can't splash for her, but so what?

Constructed - 4
Casual - 4
Limited - 5

Akroma, Angel of Wrath

Constructed - It only seemed like just a while ago you would rip people a new one. Well, now you get to do it again. The cost his very mana heavy but that's why there are reanimater's around. The chance's of a player hard casting it is very unlikely. Welcome back Akroma! Time to smash in face's again!
Casual - This is the stuff casual gamer's love and hate. Has pretty much anything you need. People will be playing this for sure.
Limited - The fact that it cost's 8 mana to cast is very tough. Then it has triple white in it's cost. That is harsh. But if you see this and you know you can run it take it for sure since it means you win the game. If you can't run it hate draft it. It sounds tough but do you really want a 6/6 flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, pro black, pro red on the other end of the table that would say you lose? I didn't think so.

Constructed - 5
Casual - 5
Limited - 4.5 take it. Whether it's in your color's or hate drafting, take it

Well this card today pretty much speaks for itself. It's a really big angel, that pretty much give you everything you want from a creature. 6/6 flying, trample, haste, first strike, vigilance and pro red/black. Which means, it's pretty much impervious to all removal spells (except that pesky blue color) and it can attack, and sit back and block for you. This is what I like to call a game ender...because once you play this card, your opponent is on a clock thats quickly running out of time. Yes the 5WWW is a drawback, but nothing worth losing sleep over.

Constructed: 4/5 too good to give a bad score

Casual: 5/5 with the cards you can put to back this thing up, that makes for one scary deck.

Limited 3/5 I'm not sure how viable it is to get 8 mana out before you get run over, but if you can pull this off, this should definately go in your deck.

Ultra short review today. Why? This card is probably more straightforward than assembly worker. It's obvious she's incredible because she's nearly unkillable and has a ton of abilities.

Constructed: Think how good Simic Sky Swallower is. Akroma is better than that. She doesn't get a 5 because wrath of god, condemn, and devouring light (not really) all see heavy play in our format.
She's still amazing though.
4.5/5

Limited: If she was the only white card in your pool, you would put 5 plains and her in your deck. She's that good.
If you can't see why she is godly (literally), I don't know why you're reading this in the first place.
5/5
