Yes, this was Twincast...well...before there was Twincast. The problem was that it got a little abusive, being red. Copying burn spells was strong. Remaking it as Twincast was mainly for color balancing I'd imagine. Over the years though, this card has maintained its value and still trades well. I have to think things will stay the same long into the future.

The original Twincast, and probably the inspiration for most of the Izzet Guild. If you've got one of these, your opponent's instants and sorceries just aren't safe anymore. "Forking" an opponent's spell can be worse than countering it, since the copy resolves first and might win you the game before the original spell even resolves.
