Darien, King of Kjeldor

This guy is technically not a "Lord" as the term is often used in Magic, but he still goes great in a Soldier deck (and goes great with Tuesday's card). He is, however, a 3/3 for six mana. Yes, there's the Char combo, and yes he is in the color of life gain, making his ability that much better, but he's still not that great. If you could play him at instant speed, now we're talking.

Constructed- 2
Casual- 3.5
Limited- 3.5

Darien just seems like a missed opportunity. We finally get a big human lord and it's not actually pumping up humans. What he does can be pretty devastating though. Any deck founded on ignoring the early game and waiting to hit you a few times with a big creature (like a Simic Sky Swallower) can have problems with Darien. By the time they get their big guns on the table, you could have enough of a life advantage that getting a swarm of soldiers can finish the game. To say nothing of cards that can make your soldiers into more than just 1/1 dorks.

Constructed Rating - 2.4
Casual Rating - 3.0
Limited Rating - 3.1

Wow, a very late game card. Are you sure you want your opponet to hit you this late into the game? I mean if you can afford it then go ahead, but otherwise this may not be such a good card. Maybe in Limited i would try this card, but to me this has no real use for it. I mean sure you get alot of tokens, that's the truth, but if you can't afford the life, then your out of the game for sure.

Constructed~2.3
Casual~2.9 (Maybe someone can find it really useful later on)
Limited~2.7
