I'm not sold on this guy one bit. He's expensive for a 3/6 creature. You do get a greata bility though. If you take him early in a draft and dedicate to green/black I'd imagine he's going to be pretty amazing. Being able to make a 4/4 creature to attack with every turn is pretty nice. This guy isn't one I can see showing up in a lot of decks, but you can definitely expect a few people to play with it. He's ability to too enticing for people to stay away from.

Bah. I don't care if you are continually turning a creature into a land each turn, I still don't like this card. First, the mana cost (3BBG) is a bit of an investment for something that isn't directly contributing to you winning the game. Second, you *still* have to pay an activation cost to get the extra body on your side of the table. Third, you have to tap the Corrupter to activate its ability, meaning you will generally only get a single extra body per turn. Shame on you if this finds its way into your casual or constructed deck.

For limited purposes, I get to do a complete 180 on my opinion of this card. Although the investment is large, you tend to have a bit more time in limited to get rolling, and a 3/6 body can be somewhat significant. If you can manage to stall long enough and get this guy active, you will generally be winning the game.

A nice ability in theory, but so far in the set, Black/Green isn't one of the better color combos to go after in draft. There are a few very good cards in the colors, but it doesn't always translate into a good deck. Black Blue mill beats the crap out of it, and Green/White seems to deal with it also. I've never seen anyone able to make more than one "forest creature" with it in draft. So, while the potential is there, it never really seems to get off the ground.
