This Week's Card Selector

I couldn't find 5 good cards that fit the theme, so I wanted to give you a fairly obvious card to see if it would help.

In constructed, you have so many more cards that will give you mana, that you don't need to play this. Ever.

In limited, this card was of marginal help, but I usually would just play a basic land instead.

In constructed, this card sucks the left one AND the right one.
In limited, this card only sucks the left one and nibbles on the right one.

You can buy one from me, buy why would you?  I have better cards for sale. :)

Constructed - 1
Limited - 1.1
Current Price - $2.45

This card was really rather silly. A land that can tap for a color unless the other player pays 1. Didn't work very well when legal. Maybe it should have been an artifact or something, who knows ? It seems that if you really need a certain color of mana that City of Brass would be a lot better. If the one life from City would be a big drawback maybe a different deck is in order. I didn't like the card then and time has done nothing to change my opinion.

This card had POTENTIAL, but not enough to make it playable. It needs to be
able to make colorless mana by itself to make the cut in most decks - unless
there is some other trick going on, like manabarbs... but then, what's the
point?

Seriously, has anyone ever played this card?

The "poor man's port" is not a card I'd play.  Mana is not something you
want to screw around with and this card is too situational.  I would never
play it and found the opportunity many times when playing Limited.  A 1 in
both constructed and Limited, because I can't give it a 0.
