This is the card that makes Mono-Black work.  It's the card that fuels the Mirari that doubles everything.  The Mana advantage gets to be overwhelming.  The deck doesn't run X spells, but being able to copy a corrupt it pretty good.  Getting to 9 mana to do it ain't too easy - with Coffers it is.  The card is ridiculous and belongs in every mono-black deck that it's legal in from now until forever.  It's that damn good.

In limited, it's not.  You can't go mono-black and you can't really abuse this card for what it's worth.  Usually total garbage.

Ohhh, so good in mono-Black. At Pro-Tour Chicago this past weekend, you could see it everywhere in MB control decks. Has great synergy with the deck, and can make Undead Gladiator a nice engine to cycle through your deck to look for something you need.

In limited, since you need 4 Swamps just to start seeing advantage from this card, it's not really useful.

Constructed - 5
Limited - 2

A great card for mono black decks. The ability to produce mass amounts of black mana can make for very explosive plays. Really only good in a mono black deck, as it is only good with lots of swamps.

And for that reason, I don't play it in sealed. In draft, it would be a low pick for me, since you need a lot of black to play it.

Only useful in a mono-black deck,  but depending on the deck it is often the
card you're tutoring for.  It accelerates your high end spells or gives you
the ability to double-threat in one turn.  In limited it's a very late pick,
since unless you're playing mono or very heavy black it probably won't get
played.
constructed- 3.2
limited- 1.5

Won't see play in type 1.  Type 2, Lots of play in
MBC.  Really nice with mirari and corrupt and other
suck spells, or skeletal scrying.

Limited- Great, but i mean not the best if your going
black use it.

Contructed:4.5
Limited:3.5

Cabal Coffers - Well, mana is good and this card can make your mana growth exponential. Dropping a couple can be huge and power Black's expensive game winners.

Constructed - Accelerating constructed decks is huge - 4.00

Limited - You probably won't have enough Swamps to make a difference with this card, pass it up unless you are going Black - 2.00

PEZ - A whole subgroup of control decks abuse this card even with the threat of Strip Mines - 4.25
