Nightcrawler is a super grab for a 200 point game, but the only error I see in a strategy like the "Nightcrawler Shotgun" technique is that you could never touch an invulnerable guy, the same problem I alway run into when trying to build a 200 point force with the elf. Most other people you could grab to hurt an invulnerable next, would limit the people on your force or hinder your overall mobility- which would hurt in a game against a more rounded force.  So I set out to build a well balanced force -works on multiples and well as a single bruiser. This is what i came up with.

NSW Balanced 199

U Nightcrawler CT (83)
V Storm XP (52)
U Wasp IC (44)
E Paramedic XP (10)
E Paramedic XP (10)

Lets solve one of the biggest problems in a 200 point game first- mobility. Don't move your medics- it is a waste of a turn unless absolutely crucial.  Nightcrawler can move and hit in same turn so he is no problem, and the Wasp's (with free Avenger movement) basic purpose is to taxi around Storm so she can attack that turn. The Wasp also has leadership in a pinch. So this team allows you to attack with your whole force as one over great distance. Now for basic stategy- you want to draw the battle to the middle of the board, to close to your start and medics become a target, to close to theirs and you can't get back to your medics.  Now against the invulnerable bruiser (in a 200 point game they will only have one)- use Nightcrawler to attack supporting characters and hypersonic over to tie up the invulnerable guy while Storm blast them. With a ten for attack she should be able to hit a 17 defense or even an 18, and the more they miss Nightcrawler with his 18 defense with super-senses, the more chances you'll get.  In a match like this it is likely Nightcrawler will get hit, but that is what the medics are for.  Also don't forget the Wasps ability to incapacitate, at an 8 attack it is not super likely to happen but it is possible.  Now against a more rounded force, just play a normal game.  Keep in mind, if it is worth it, don't be afraid to push Storm and Nightcrawler, thier defenses drop enough that it is fairly easy to heal, and with two medics you have two chances, and they can heal each other!  In a super pinch- there is also always the X-men team ability. Also, start Storm and Nightcrawler next to the Wasp so she can taxi either if need be at the start of the game. And keep the Wasp in front of you force at the start to guard against an incredible first turn strike (taxi out an explosion charcer?) and to give Storm a little extra reach.

For me this team is undefeated in 1 on 1 games, though I have only tried it on three maps, with like 6 games.  And this team is 1-1 in games with three people. Not bad that this teams only lost has come at dealing with two attacking forces at once.  So try it out people and tell me how it works- sklep@hotmail.com
