Secret Wars custom scenario
Sept 22, 2006

My son and I came up with this one as a variation on the Secret Wars custom scenario with a 1000 point team but it most certainly could work with smaller teams of 400 or 500 or so if you adjust some of the other criteria as well(like a 50 or so point leader).  Both sides pick a new team ability(except wildcard and uncopy-able Team Abilities) for the entire team and reveal it at the same time like a BFC, similar to the Secret War scenario by J-Tone.  Each team needs a leader, again, similar to the Secret War, but instead of Dr. Doom and Captain America, it can be any click in the 100-150 range with leadership showing.  And for this game, the designated leader is an arch-enemy of the entire other team.  From here on this scenario more resembles Quidditch, the broom riding sport from Harry Potter as far as scoring goes.

Scoring is as normal with printed points for each captured piece.  For Quidditch scoring purposes, when one team captures the other team's leader they are awarded 2x points for him because he is the entire other team's arch enemy.   He is the 'Snitch' and the game ends when the leader has been taken out.  Whoever has the highest score at the end of the game, wins.  But you need to watch your score.  If you see an opportunity to capture their leader/snitch, but don't have enough points because they have been whomping on your team for a while, the other player will still win.  You'll have to do some whomping of your own to catch up before you capture their leader.  So you have to watch your score throughout the game and make sure that when you capture their leader, it will actually give you the win.
