STRENGTHS:

Kal-L is a pretty terrifying Charging brick with 5 damage Exploit Weakness and Super Strength. Clicks 2-5 may be even worse for foes with their "Fending Off Two Supermen" SP: Flurry plus free Force Blast on the hit targets. Mid-dial, and pretty much the rest of his dial, he's a Hypersonic brick dealing big damage. 

Late-dial, he gets a good shot at healing via Regeneration or Steal Energy (with good AV and a bit of Exploit Weakness). But he doesn't need to wait until then, thanks to his trait "Power Levels Rising" that heals him when a foe is KO'd within 4 squares. (It feels like I wrote this already. ;) )

WEAKNESSES:

Toughness is a weak damage reducer for a dial of this cost. Range is very short, too, and pretty much only inflates his already high cost.

CARDS TO CONSIDER:

AUTOMATIC REGENERATION can really keep him going. OPPORTUNIST works for Indomitable figs. And you can double-up on his healing opportunities with the BLACK LANTERN.

IN SUM:

Yeah, he's powerful. But for his cost he's a bit soft. Good thing he beats so hard. 3.5 of 5.
