Today's review is Green Scar from Mutations and Monsters

Our number 1 is here…Green Scar…bet you didn’t see that one coming.

Also, sorry I didn’t get my review in for Wildcat, but he was my #2 and I would have given the experienced a 5/5.

Also, its about time we at least got to a third piece to review form M&M.

He is a Unique(rare), 230 points, 0 range, 10 clicks of lfie, no team

Defense – toughest one there is – he can use imperv and willpwer

Speed – smash – green scar can use leap/climb.  Give him a power action, move him his full speed, then give him a free close combat action

Speed:  Basically built in pounce with a 5 damage, nice.  Flurry is good because he will be in close anyway, and plasticity…well….sure why not

Attack:  Pretty solid the whole way, but I still would like it a wee bit higher for the points. Power combinations aren’t great though

Defense:  Pretty high, with a lot of reduction and some healing potential.  What is crazy is that for 8 of his clix, he is reducing damage by 2.  That is massive.  And I think you can use Willpower on your turns then imprev when getting attacked…that is nuts

Damage:  Not as high as I would like, but all that exploit really helps him get that damage in

The Good:  Special powers are amazing

     High attack

Defense averages around a 16-17 with constant -2 reduction

     High damage

     Able to really wreak havoc

     Mobile for beginning of dial

The Bad:   Isn’t mobile enough, after click 4 he is a sitting duck

     No range

Not the best of power reductions

Feats:   Well, fortitude means your opponent is going to have a horribly hard time taking him down.

Overall:    Wow, this guy is tough cookie to crack.  He has high attack, nice damage, and is very mobile on some of his better clicks.  Also, since he is not a giant, he can be tk’d with no problem.  This guy is a huge investment to a team, and a piece that is very fun to use.  I think that is probably why he was ranked so high, since he is a no go for 300 point teams IMHO.  Still, you can’t deny the sheer annoyance factor of him, and the ability to destroy just about any piece in a high point tournament.  He is not my particular cup of tea, but he is a great piece overall.

Constructed/Unrestricted:  3.75 / 5

Sealed/Draft:  3 / 5

Overall:  3.75 / 5

In an event of a tie, the Pojo Administrator made the call. Sadly I had a hectic week and didn't get to review all ten figures on the countdown, including my personal #1. But I gave them all ratings and my original Green Arrow Review can be found here: (
