ANALYSIS:
In her old Cosmic Justice incarnation, Saturn Girl would've been an exceedingly weak piece if not for her Perplex, that made both her and her teammates more effective. Then there was her Mind Control, which could really swing a match in short order. Gotta love front-loaded clicks Mind Control and Perplex.

Neither of which this new Saturn Girl has. Mind Control is stuck on clicks #2-4 and Perplex is absent.
Instead she has Incap and Super Senses. Not the worst powerset, but it means she's not as immediately effective as her old incarnation. Once she gets Mind Control, she's also got her best Attack Value of 10 -- though at the cost of Super Senses in favor of Energy Shield/Deflection.

But it's her mid-to-late-dial that reveals her Special Power, Telepathic Coordination: She can boost one of a friend's stats by +2, similar to Perplex. It only works on friendly teammates, though; not herself. Last
2 clicks have Outwit, too.

FEATS?
MENTAL SHIELDS works fine on any single-target Mind Controller, but given her need to push to her Special Power, it might be better to take the feedback. COMPEL is another good choice. If you plan to push to her best stuff, consider the feats made for ESD like HEIGHTENED REFLEXES or FORCE FIELD to make her just a little bit more survivable. Finally, consider EXTENDED RANGE to increase her Mind Control range to 10.

IN SUM:
Her weird power placement keeps her from being better than just OK in my book; every click is pretty good but none are highly playable.

RATING: 3 of 5.

Special Power: Telepathic Coordination – She can increase the attack or defense of a friendly character by +2 till the end of the characters action.  She must be within 10 clear spaces of the figure.  Attack clicks 3-5

Speed:   3 of Mind Control in the middle…not great

Attack:  Not bad values, weirdly placed though, the white power is cool

Defense:  Low, SS barely helps, and ESD only gets it at a max of 17, but she will probably be hit past it

Damage:  2’s aren’t that great, but outwit helps

The Good:  Outwit

      Wildcard

      White Power

The Bad:  5 clicks

                1 target MC and Incap

                Low defense

                Low damage

Feats: Compel and Mental Shields work, but I wouldn’t bother with either

Overall:  Yikes…another stinker.  She basically has no movement, but you might get something out of Mind Control, Mental Shields can keep her from taking feedback damage.  If she had the upfront outwit, she would be better.  The special power helps the lower attacks of the recent sets, but still…nothing to write home about.  She is pretty bad.

Constructed/Unrestricted:   2 / 5

Sealed/Draft:    N/A / 5

Overall:  2 / 5

“Heroclix….they’re cool, addictive, and available….the things practically sell themselves.”
