Howdy? Hope you’re all enjoying this week. Sorry for
the brief review, but I
don’t have much time for this one, so: Today is
Azrael, we get him in the
form of R/E/V. I’m going with V, as you probably
guessed. The vet. costs 65
points, and for that you get a non flying Batman
Ally, 4 range 1 target, 8
clicks of health and:
Stats:
Speed: 10, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 8, 8. Charge for the first
2 and last 2 clicks,
the rest is Leap/Climb.
Attack: 10, 9, 8, 8, 7, 8, 9, 9. B/F/C on the 3rd
and 4th clicks, Super
Strength on the following 2. No powers on his Charge
clicks.
Defense: 16, 16, 15, 14, 14, 16, 17, 17. First 3
clicks are Toughness, then
he gets Combat Reflexes till his 7th click.
Damage: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1. CCE for the first 2
clicks, Support for the
last 2 clicks.
Analysis: The first thing to notice is his long
dial. Woa! 8 clicks and
that starting Toughness will make him last a while.
His Speed is ok, nice
vales, some Charge and some Leap/Climb. The L/C is
nice, because he has
Stealth; Charge isn’t half bad, I just wish he had
Super Strength on any of
those clicks… He does have the ability to inflict
some damage: the first 2
clicks he has 2 with CCE on his damage dial, the
following 2 he has B/F/C.
His attack is pretty decent, too. Even if from his
5th click on he’s no
longer a threat to anyone, there’s still something
interesting about him: he
becomes a great medic if he lands on his 7th or 8th
click (a 9 on a medic is
nothing to sneeze at; and with a 17 with CR and
Stealth he’s unlikely to be
hit!). His defense is a 16 for most of his dial
(factoring in his CR and the
fact that unless he faces a Supes/Ultimates Ally,
he’ll be attacked from
close)
Conclusion: I think this guy can make a pretty good
clean up piece and/or
good bait, just throw him at an opposing big gun and
then attack it with
your own big guns and Azrael himself
Ranking:
100 – 1/5 Niet
200 – 2/5 I dunno…
300 – 3/5 Here he can already cause some damage
400+ – 3.75/5 Try him out
