Ragman

Today is the turn of Ragman, a not so well known DC hero. I myself actually
got to know him through Day of V. I actually liked this guy there, not bad
at all. But what about his clix? Well, let’s take a look, shall we? He
comes in the form of R/E/V. I’m picking the V just because I can’t make my
mind up. The V version of Ragman costs 58 points and is a Mystic (and one of

the best, might I add), he has 7 clicks of life and no range:

Stats:

Speed: 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 6. Starts with Leap/Climb, then follows 3 clicks of

Stealth and then is Leap/Climb again till the end.

Attack: 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7. First click is Super Strength. Steal Energy
from the 3rd click till the end

Defense: 17, 16, 16, 16, 15, 15, 14. Willpower the last 2 clicks.

Damage: 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1. Exploit Weakness for the last 2 clicks

Analysis: Not too bad, just that…well, I wish he had both Willpower and
Exploit Weakness at the beginning, but having those at the end ain’t too
bad: it means that he can either run to the medic easily (the Willpower) or
keep hitting; and that Exploit Weakness makes sure that the 1 damage will go

in. He has a lot of Steal Energy, and that’s cool, coupled with his long
dial for the cost makes up for the lack of any damage reducing powers. The
defense numbers aren’t half bad, either. You could wish that he started off
with Stealth, but that one click of L/C with the 2 damage makes him a good
candidate for Pounce. Oh yeah, don’t forget that he’s a Mystic, so it’ll be
painful for your opponent to kill your little clean up piece/ 3rd string
attacker.

Conclusion: He’s far from being the best ever, but I think he’s very nice.
Especially for 400 or 500 point games, as he has a big chance of being
ignored there and that’ll be his best defense. Give Rags a chance! :P

Ratings:
100 – 1/5 Nope, not a good idea…
200 – 1.5/5 It’d be pushing it…
300 - 2/5 Here he can fit, but I’m not too sure
400+ – 3.75/5
