Today we are going to be looking at the newly previewed Terra from DC Icons
She is so bad I am not going to dignify her with a witty joke.
Cost and Abilities:
Unique 60 points. 6 clicks of life. 8 range/ one target. Teen Titans Ability
Movement: 8 with….force blast. YIKES!
Attack: 8 with….QUAKE. DOUBLE YIKES! But wait she has Pulse wave in the middle with a higher 9 attack.
Defense 16 with…BARRIER. TRIPLE YIKES! Oh wait…Barrier is pretty good. My bad. She also has energy shield near the middle of her short game.
Damage: 2,3,4,3,2,2…………oooooooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkk.
Sculpt: Why do I have this category….they’re all good now.
Team Ability: Teen Titans Share a click is sometimes good, but I never use any Teen Titans currently, so it will probably be a waste. However on the right team it could help her get to her sweet clicks.
Feats: She seems to be designed for Nova Blast.
Battle Field Condition : If you’re playing a 60 point character do not play a battlefield condition against them.
How to Beat Her: Have a defense of 16 and she probably won’t hit you.
How to Play Her: Don’t
Overview: Force Blast. A character that has no defense reduction ability and a mediocre defense. One of the absolute WORST attacks I’ve ever seen on a character that is 60 points (8,8,9,8,7,6) So I guess a 9 is the sweet click here. So you have to push her twice to get her to a click that is not really that good, unless you have a really lucky role. Terra is one of the worst clicks I’ve seen….WOW!
Overall Score:
0/5 300 Points
.02/5 400 Points
.02/5 500 Points

Stormwolf
For those unfamiliar with the character, Terra was a teen titan back in the 1980's, and was the centerpiece of one of their greatest tales, the Judas Contract. She betrayed the team horribly, and nearly destroyed them. This has been done on the Toon Network Teen Titans cartoon as well, which is likely why they made the figure. On to the review.

Basics: 60 points, 6 clicks of life, 8 range / 1 target, Teen Titans ability

Movement: Terra starts off with an average 8 move with Force Blast. Makes sense for the character, and is actually far more useful than most people think.

Attack: 8 to start, complimented by Quake. Spikes in the middle of her dial to 9 when she gets her pulse wave. A trifle low, but then again, so is her cost.

Defense: 16 is decent, but it's the barrier that lets her shine. It makes her a terrific figure for the defense game. She later in the dial gets ES/D, which helps her fly out the gate and become a full on attacking piece.

Damage: Fluxes a bit, but at one point is at a 4( ! ), which is quite nice. never drops below 2.

Final Thoughts: Some will overlook her. Some will say she's a bad piece. Some just truly don't understand the value of a click unless it's a simple to use, point and click character like Ultimate Thor. Terra gives the Titans a truly nasty threat. Sure, her attack is a bit low when compared to others. But not every figure can have a 12 attack, ok? The Barrier helps protect her fellow Titans (or other teammates), the Quake takes care of swarms, the Pulse wave helps sting peeps with defensive powers like toughness. I really hope I pull one of these sweet babies when I get my hands on some boosters.

Final Score: Tournament: 3.25 / 5
                     Sealed Booster: 4 / 5
                     Friendly Play: 5 / 5 (go Titans!)
