Stormwolf
Ahh, poor Alex Summers. Everyone likes your brother more than you. Of course, that's because you tend to be easily manipulated, and may turn to the wrong side at a moments notice! But you have intense power, so let us see if the clix gods did you right....

Cost~ 35 points, 6 clicks of life, X-men team ability

Movement~ 2 clicks of 7, 2 clicks of 6, 2 clicks of 5. No powers, but with flight. About par for a fig of this low cost. It's enough to set up his 8 ranged attack.

Attack~ Starts out at a decent 9 with 3 clicks of energy explosion, followed by 2 clicks of pulse wave(!). Insanely good for such a cheap figure.

Defense~ Starts out at 15 with 4 clicks of ES/D, which is pretty nice for a budget piece.

Damage~ couple of 3's, couple of 2's, couple of ones.

Sculpt~ Not too bad! A little more deatail, and it would have been perfect.

Final Thoughts~ A truly nice piece....but as is the case of most of the LEs, you'd be better off taking the experienced or vet versions of Havok. FOr 3 or 4 more points, you get a piece that is exponentially better. But if this was the only one of the 4 versions at your disposal, it would still be a good call to go into any army. It's a really low cost for such a solid distance attack piece.

Score~ 4.0 / 5 in tourney play
            5.0 / 5 in sealed booster play

Can you say just use the experienced version? Yes? Good. For three more points you get a much better team ability and a flier. Or use the vet, more damage and leadership. These mutant mayhem LEs are nothing more than eye candy. Sure 35 points for three damage isn't bad but still. I am not saying he is a bad figure I'm just saying there are a lot of better options out there. Switching the pulse wave and energy explosion around would have done some good, it would allow you to push your hulks and con artists on the first turn. As it stands now the figure is nothing special. I traded mine for some good tech pieces that I needed because I got into this game late.

100: 3.222/5 Not bad here low point cost means no impervious so the three damage really hurts.
200: 2.995/5 Simply because there are a lot of better options
300: 2.847/5
400: 2.758/5
500: 2.665/5 Poitns better spent on medics/outwittes/perplexers

So said the spy.

skilanky64 Well, Alex Summers, Havok
Kid brother of Scott Summers, AKA Cyclops
The power of shooting plasma without the nasty deal of not being able to open your eyes without blowing up whatever you look at

But Clix-wise, I'd rather have the Cyclops

Lets take a look:
35 Points, definitely not your main powerhouse
LE
8 Range
Starts off with energy explosion and has it for 3/6 clix, then pulse wave for 2/6
ESD with 15, keeps it for 4
Above average damage, 3
X-Men team ability (exchange a clix of damage with another X-Men character)

All in all, I would really like an Alex Summers, especially for my X-Men collection
But that doesn't mean I'd ever use him

Limited: 5/10- maybe, I mean a 35 point guy at a draft
Constructed: 2/10- no
