Hello All,
Once again I must break from my normal patterns of
review. I've lost
Microsoft Word for a bit. How did I lose it? Not
sure, it decided it was
useful to me so it decided to delete itselt rather
then let me type out my
opions on it.
Maybe it thinks it's a good idea to play characters
with no range. Maybe
Microsoft Word just likes force blast.
Today we are reviewing Man Bat. The equalivelent of
Batman's Bizzaro. Also
a person in need of a new name. "Oh no! Man Bat!
What will we do?" It
does not exactly strike terror, reminds me more of
what they would call him
in a 1900's circus.
He is 38 points and a o range with one target. He is
a Batman Enemy with
five clicks.
Movement: 10 with charge for one click only.
Attack: 9 with Blades Claws for 1 click only.
Defense: 15 with toughness...on his last two clicks
only.
Damage: 2,2,2,1,1
OVERVIEW: What an incomplete character. He's only 5
click deep and only
has one decent click. He's not nearly as good as say
the POG with Blades
Claws and a Jean Gray figure, which is nearly the
same points. Prehaps you
could be cleve enough to use the Batman Enemy Team
Ability, but regardless
he is a 1 click character with toughness at the
worlds most retarted spot.
ALL THE WAY AROUND MANBAT GETS A 1 OUT OF A POSSIBEL
5 STARS. The one is because I think that Team Abilty
is good on the right wild cards team.

Well, it seems we finish this Batman
themed week from Icons with yet another
re-vamp, let’s see if this guy actually “cuts it”:
5 clicks of life, Batman Enemy TA, No range, 1
target, costs 38 points.
Stats:
Speed: 10, 10, 8, 7, 6. Charge for the first click,
nothing further.
Attack: 9, 8, 7, 7, 6. Blades/Claws/Fangs in the
first click, and that’s it.
Defense: 15, 14, 14, 13, 13. Toughness in the last 2
clicks.
Attack: 2, 2, 2, 1, 1. No Powers
Analysis: So, let’s see… with that low defense
(barely decent for the point
cost) and just Toughness, and for the last 2 clicks,
he won’t be around too
much… specially if you consider that he lacks range…
I could go on on this
guy, but I’ll make it short: He has only one good
click, that’s the first
one, and it’s not even really good, it’s just
decent.
Conclusion: Save the points to get a good character
into your team, or use
them in Feats like ICWO, Unstoppable, or even
Fortitude….
