Today's review is Shang-Chi from Avengers

Man, this year had some crazy brawlers for a cheap cost, coming in at number six we got a good one.

Old review can be found here http://www.pojo.com/heroclix/cotd/2007/July/27.shtml

This one is going to be short.  He made this list for one glaring reason…he is amazing for his point cost.  I can think of few pieces who really is worth his weight in gold…or plastic.  He is extremely efficient and the wildcard abuse makes him all the better.  Same numbers as before

Constructed/Unrestricted:  4.5 / 5

Sealed/Draft:  5 / 5

Overall: 4.5 / 5

“Heroclix….they’re cool, addictive, and available….the things practically sell themselves.”

Since Shang-Chi was previously reviewed on July 29th, I'm going to just give a brief, updated review:

First thing I notice is the dial doesn't sink too deep, but at least he shows off some high attack. Pounce is the ultimate candidate for this guy. After Pouncing, he'll land on Flurry and already be in close combat! Yikes! Too bad Shang-Chi peaks at 16 defense. Super Senses helps but how long can you keep hoping for a 5 or 6? Luckily Leap/Climb returns in time for Mr. Chi to spring away from the enemies and scavenge objects for Nanobots. No need for pushing; he gains Willpower.

Six months later, I can say I enjoy Shang-Chi more than I did during my first review. Great 2nd-string attacker that is very common to pull from a booster. Get one!

Shang-Chi receives a 4.5/5.
