Today's review is Jubilee from Supernova

Jubilee is basically Wolverine’s second kid friend, after Shadowcat.  She came to prominence in the early 90’s Saturday morning cartoon X-Men (a classic), and in the comics, she went on to some success of her own.  It took about 5 years, but here is her clix.

None of these versions are really any good, so since I think most of the reviewers are going to go with the move and shoot abilities of the vet, I will do the rookie, who I think is the best for the points

She is 27 points, 4 range 1 target, 5 clicks of life, and no team

Speed:  Stealth, then L/C…not bad

Attack:  EE and Incap aren’t great, but for the points not bad options

Defense:  stays around a 16 the whole time, not bad actually

Damage:  ugh, that is why we get the incap and EE

The Good:  Cheap blocking terrain

      Cheap harrasser

The Bad:   4 range sucks

Incap and EE suck with one target

Attack vales and damage aren’t great

Feats:   No

Overall:    Normally, I would destroy a piece like this.  The only reason she is getting a half-decent review is because of that ol thing that really matters…EXPERIENCE.  Thanks to her and a Vet Badoon, I almost lost my rookie silver surfer.  Back and forth Incap while being tied up can take down even the best of figures.  She is by no means a big threat on her own, and the fact that she doesn’t have the x-men team doesn’t help either.  She is a nice cheap harasser, and can also be blocking terrain for pieces hiding behind her.  She is pretty bad, but used right, you can get a lot more out of her than you would expect.

Constructed/Unrestricted:  2 / 5

Sealed/Draft:  2 / 5

Overall: 2 / 5

Today's Click of the Day is  Jubilee
Veteran from Supernova

Jubilee's mutant power is the ability to shoot fireworks. I really hope she has this thing under control since with one slip the Xavier Mansion is in ashes. Let's see if her dial lives up to the mutant.

She is 51 points; Grounded; X-Men Team; 6 Range; 2 Bolts
  8     8     7     7     7    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO
  9     9     8     8     7    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO
  16   16   16   15    15   KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO
  2     2     1     1     1    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO    KO

Note:  This color  = Combat Reflexes

Speed_  -- Starts off smooth with a calm 8 and Running Shot. The 6 range may not be great but Running Shot means Jubilee has a potential 10 range. I like Leap/Climb afterward for quick medic flees.

Attack_  -- 9 is just okay. There's not much point in the Incapacitate; she'll never hit it. If you're lucky, you can try it with her 2 range attacks, but it's a gamble. Last-minute Pulse Wave works for me.

Defense_ -- A possible 18?! For TWO clicks?! Then a possible 18 at close combat?! The high defense never stops.

Damage_ -- This is where things get a lot rougher. Only 2 damage.. ouch. There's not much Jubilee is going to do with those values.

Sculpt_ -- I was expecting more fireworks. Jubilee looks as shocked as I am.

 Romanco's Breakdown_
~ Can move and shoot
~ Hard to hit defense nearly the entire dial
~ Going to need some support
~ Who seriously doesn't need some support?

Good luck with Jubilee. Even adding In Contact, maybe Force Field, or Nanobots she doesn't seem worth it. 51 points may feel like a steal but remember she is only 5 clicks deep. One Superman hit and Jubilee's fireworks become sparklers. If you want an X-Men team, give her a go, but otherwise I'd keep her on the shelf.

I give Jubilee a 2/5.
