Cannonball
Today it's Cannonball, from Armor Wars. Like
Monday's guy, I have no idea who this is. obviously
it's a X-Man, but there soooo many. anyway, this
dude
comes in the form of a R/E/V. which is best? Clearly
not the rookie, as Cap.
Mako is cheaper and much much better. Between the
Exp. and the Vet. there is
a great difference in the cost. and also in the
dials. but not that much.
well, as you see, I can't decide, so I'll just go
with the Vet., as I usually do when it's not very
clear which is better. So, it costs 111 points, it
has the X-Men TA, no range, 7 clicks of health...
and:
Stats:
Speed: 12, 10, 10, 10, 8, 8, 7. Charge from the 1st
to the 5th click.
Attack: 10, 10, 9, 9, 8, 8, 7. No Powers
Defense: 17, 16, 16, 16, 15, 15, 14. Starts with 2
of Impervious, follows 2 of Invulnerability, then 1
of Toughness and ends with 2 of Defend.
Damage: 3, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1. Close Combat Expert the
last 3 clicks
Analysis: This guy is almost the opposite of Cap.
Mako. It has an almost useless TA, it has no range
(if you are my main attacker and you cost 111 points
you better have a decent range, or else be a monster
like Ultimate
Hulk) Just ok numbers and no Powers on the attack
dial is already sucky. His
movement dial is not so bad, decent numbers and a
lot of Charge, but that's not gonna decide anything.
His defense is also just ok, not bad, but no
spectacular (and I don't get the Defend in the end,
rather have more damage reducing Powers) And finally
his damage dial. bad, actually, he can hit for
3 at max, and that's no even for the whole dial. and
if midgame this guys falls on his CCE clicks, that
can easily be Outwitted.
Conclusion: I don't think I have much to say. a
pretty useless TA, barely decent Defense and Speed
dials and bad Damage and Attack dials (well, the
attack is almost decent) for the cost, all that
makes him a very poor choice.
Ranking:
100 - N/A
200 - 1/5 Not enough room
300 - 1.5/5 Here you have the room, but anyway, he
sucks.
400 - 1.5/5 He still sucks, and bigger guns here.
500+ - 2/5 I'm just being nice :P
