Aardvark

It takes an action to draw this card and another to play it. You must also sacrifice a lesson, which is equivalent to an additional two actions. In return, you gain two actions. So, overall, the use of this card puts you behind by two actions. Obviously, you should not be using this card without good reason. The only good reason is trying to facilitate a combo that requires extra actions. For example, using this with Bravado to get an early use of two big spells, instead of just one. This card competes with other action gaining cards, like Unicorn, the new Draco, and the recent money cards. Quite frankly, I like all of those other cards better than this one.

Rating: 2

Crusader

This card is cool, you get two more actions the turn you play it, for one of your lessons in play. Combine this with Potions Dungeon/Hagrid's House, and you have a cool combo. Since you use one action playing this, you only gain one action for your turn. But, thats still enough to finish off your opponent, and in a game, one action can make the difference.

Enraged

This card isn’t much worth playing now that the money cards have come out. For one Charms power you can get the same effect if you wait one measly turn and Sickle for two more power and no lesson discard gives you a bonus two actions. Overall if you need to combo with this card and you need the actions right away by all means play this card but it really isn’t worth the effort in the long run.

Lockhart

This card lets you get two actions put playing it costs you a lesson and a action playing it. So in essence you gain an extra action. There are lots of better ways to gain extra actions but this card was used quite often in the Spiral Dive Decks to gain that extra actions you might need. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't, usually it didn't. This card could also be handy in some version of a Golden Snitch deck. Ordinarily I wouldn't advise playing this card, but if you feel you can find a use for it then I say use it. We only offer our opinions of cards, but lots of times, they have niches in fun decks with unique designs.

Some combos use this card for just the extra action they need to pull off a combo.. It's "ok" .. you lose an action and a lesson to get 2 actions, so it's like trading a lesson for an action. Sometimes it's perfect for a combo, and other times there's other cards better to pull of the combo.. Just guess and test. ^_^

Snuffles

Platform is one of those cards i usually end up putting in my combo decks. Like the ever talked about.... Diagon Alley - Draco's Trick, Platform, Three Month Match, Spiral Dive deck..... you need the extra action, but only for that turn. So if you have a three card combo, you can use the Platform, but keep in mind that you just made it into a four card combo. Therefore i would be a little cautious about this card. Don't stock too many of them unless you are sure you can draw the other cards for your combo.... Maybe we oughta combine this puppy with Mirror of Erised..... now that would be a good trick. Anywho, its friday..... go play outside or something and get off the computer heh.
