Obviously, you can't win by just playing lessons, so at some point your opponent is going to want to get rid of this. If it's early in the game, they'd probably prefer to play out their lessons anyway, and shrink their hand size as a result. That way, they lose less cards when they get around to solving it. Later on in the game, it would be quite possible that they don't have many cards in hand, making solving this adventure a relatively painless proposition. This card is not so hot in multiples either, since they can play the fetched reward card the turn this adventure is solved, leaving their hand completely empty. The one positive thing to say about Escaping the Dursleys is that its effect is such that it is invulnerable to cards or effects that remove adventures, forcing your foe to solve it via the text on the card. However, I think the situations where this card is optimal are nearly nonexistent, so I'd advise you to opt for other alternatives instead.

Hmmm this card stops them from doing anything but is to easy to solve to make it really playable and talk about a reward that you would want. This could help your opponent more than it would hurt them in most situations. Giving your opponent whatever they want bad. Cool Idea poor execution.

Wow this card isn't very good at all! If you play it at the beginning of the game, the opponent will shrug it off and state that he really needs to play lessons, or that at the end of the game, he'll discard cause he's got all the lessons he needs, and then he gets to search for the card in his deck that will help destroy the fastest? Well for two actions I think you can do better then that. If you really want your opponent to have to discard his hand, play another card.

*shudder* First it makes them play only lesson cards, so their lesson count is on the rise, and then when they solve it, they can find the exact card they need to stomp ya. Or maybe even solve it first turn and search for a refiller card like Endless Sandwiches. It was a nice idea, but just to easy to solve.

OY!!! This thing is Mean! There are a few decks this card will not affect such as Arthur Weasley decks and any deck that only uses the cards it has in play. But these decks are sparse. Almost a guaranteed solve the turn you play it unless they have Filch or Flying Car in play. This is cuz they can't play anything other than lessons... So wait till they have played a few if you draw it right away. Of course the reward is a backdraw as they get to search for whatever card they want. And not good for multiple plays cuz if they don't have any cards in hand, its a free Gringott's Vault Key. Definitely useful though! and definitely a pain!
