The ability to use one action to take one book from your discard pile... ANY amount of times... to your hand is scary. Just about unlimited Dean Thomas'! You could also use this late in the game to boost your lesson count for the final kill.

The way I see it is this. It takes you one action to get it from the discard pile and into your hand. It takes one action to play it. It takes one action to discard it and draw three. With that in mind this isn't a good choice for drawing. Gringotts Vault Key can do this too, although not at just anytime (you still have to have a Key in your hand.) There are just too many other (better) choices than this card. It would not be a good starter and if you use 2 actions to get it into play you could have acquired that book without waiting until your next turn. This is just too costly a card to have in play or use.

Dreadful card in my mind... Put a book card in to play? this card is similar to Dean thomas except you get a lesson for a short time if you want your 3 cards. This is basicly only good if you just need an extra lesson for temporary time.

The good ol' librarian.. If you play a deck with quite a few Books in it, you might want to "check this out". ;) Her ability is reusable, so you can use it as often as you need to. If you ever have to choose cards discard from your hand to pay for something, you could discard Book cards and then just get them back with Pince. Her uses are mostly limited.. that's why she'll probably be one of the lesser used characters in the game.

Well, if books were more powerful, she would be cool, now in the future, we might see better books and hate ourselves for trading away all of our Madam Irma Pinces. But for the meantime, I would suggest trading them away as fast as you can! :) In other words, unless you have a cool deck concept for her or ya can find a use for her I cant, I wouldn't really play her.... she is kinda cool, cuz theoretically she searches for a lesson as an action, so I wouldn't put her down as completely useless, but over all, I like the picture, but not the card. :)
