I sent this deck to you because you've had recent experience with creature decks, which have recently been giving this deck the most trouble.

I call this deck "Weasley Destruction."  It's a destruction deck that uses Forbidden Corridor to do 2 things:  First, it allows me to discard one-time use characters such as Madam Pomfrey, Griphook, Peeves, etc., and secondly destroys my opponent's playtable one card at a time.

Defensively, it has 8 cards to deal with creatures:  Riding the Centaur is the basis for the deck, simply due to the fact that once the Weasley Destruction Engine gets going, returning 4 cards to your hand really huts.  Raven to Writing Desk helps defend against early turbo-creature problems.  I include a Neville Longbottom to aid against quick Sprial Dive decks, and Filch to deal with those gawdforsaken adventures.

Offensively, Peeves and Griphook are used to run through my opponent's deck, while Abbot is used to retrieve Peeves and Griphook once used, and Pomfrey is the healing factor to keep the game going.

Metagame in my area is like this:  Everyone is either playing McGonnigal Destruction (60%), Flitwick or McGonnigal creatures(30%), or some sort of Spiral Dive combo deck(5%).  This deck works exceedingly well against McGonnigal Destruction, because it only needs a maximum of 6 lessons in play at any given time, and Picking on Neville generally only helps the deck along by allowing me to discard 2 "used" characters early.  I also haven't had any trouble against Sprial Dive, because Griphook and Peeves in the early game make Spiral Dive useless if my opponent doesn't have solid healing.  I have been tweaking the deck against creatures, and so far so good.

Do you have any further suggestions?

Hmm this is a very creative deck- and it can work!

Starting Character:

The whole deck is based around him so keep him as is!

Supporting Characters:

We can do a bit tweakage in here o_O.

You’re gonna eventually need to do *some* damage to your opponent, so add 3 Crabbe & Goyle.

As for defense, you could use another Neville or 2 to make sure you get him out.

+3 Crabbe & Goyle

+2 Neville Longbottom

Adventures:

The 4 Riding the Centaur looks good, so keep it. You may also want to do something like Hagrid Needs Help or even Candy Cart.

+2 Hagrid Needs Help

+2 Candy Cart

Spells:

PoN is a good card (and cheap) so stick with him and the Lost Notes. Now what you could really use is some Candy off that candy cart! Add 3 Chocolate Frogs and 2 Gringotts Vault Key. I’d suggest using GoodNight’s Sleep but keeping with the Forbidden Corridor works better with your strategy.

+3 Chocolate Frogs

+2 Gringotts Vault Key

Locations:

Everything’s fine here.

I’ll adjust the Lessons (taking out some Trans and adding some Charms)

And here’s your final deck!

Weasley Destruction

Ron Weasley

2 Argus Filch
2 Professor Quirinus Quirrel
3 Neville Longbottom
3 Madam Pomfrey
2 Hanna Abbott
4 Griphook
4 Peeves

3 Crabbe &Goyle

Adventures: (8)

4 Riding the Centaur

2 Candy Cart

2 Hagrid Needs Help

Spells: (17)

4 Raven toWriting Deck

3 Chocolate Frogs

2 Gringotts Vault Key

4 Picking On Neville

4 Lost Notes

Yes it is a tad bit low on Lessons, and if it doesn’t work for you, take some stuff out for Lessons, but since your deck focuses on getting out the Characters and the Forbidden Corridor, it won’t be that hard.

Hope you like it!
