Feb. 16 (Edward Elric, Family Ties):
By far my favorite card we're reviewing this
week, Family Ties has a lot of potential. He has
higher stats than Edward Elric, Prodigy, and
he's playable at level 2 for Alphonse and
Hohenheim easily. He is especially good in
Hohenheim Elric, Protective Father, who doesn't
even need to get out an Alphonse first. However,
he does have to compete with Strategist,
Researcher, Enraged, Auto-Mail Warior, and
Self-Righteous for playability. It honestly
depends on the deck, but I think he can be very
strong, especially with all the fighting Elrics
will have to do now.
In limited, it's very difficult to play Edward
at level 2, so he suffers from the same problems
as Alphonse Elric, Indelible Soul.
