Character Bios: Scar's Brother

His real name is not known. Scar's brother fell in love with a woman who died of illness before they could get married. Going against his people's taboo, Scar's brother attempted to revive his lover with alchemy. The failed attempt created the homonculus Lust and Scar's brother was exiled from Ishbal. It is also indicated that he lost his male organs during the transmutation process.

Years later, Scar's brother returned when the military attacked Ishbal, and tried to help the Ishbalans by creating the Philosopher's Stone. However, he used the dying people of Ishbal as the ingredients while using his own body to house the Stone. Later, after Kimblee fatally wounded Scar, Scar's brother transferred the "still-incomplete" Philosopher's Stone into his right arm, then ripping it off himself and grafting the limb onto his brother with the last of strength. This saved Scar's life at the cost of his own.
