JoyRide Entertainment teams with Worlds Apart Productions for Fullmetal Alchemist TCG organized play

CHARLOTTE, NC (August 23, 2006) - JoyRide Entertainment, creators of the acclaimed Fullmetal Alchemist TCG, today announced an agreement with Worlds Apart Productions, creators of the Lord of the Rings and Auto Assault Online TCGs, whereby Worlds Apart would assume responsibility for the management and oversight of JoyRide's organized play system.

Effective immediately, FMA TCG fans will be able to access rankings, schedule and search for tournaments, and report results with Worlds Apart via a link on the Fullmetal Alchemist TCG home page (http://www.fma-tcg.com) or directly at http://joyride.gamersroundtable.com. Features of the new site include a streamlined interface, top rankings listing, and support forums.

"We're very pleased to add JoyRide and Fullmetal Alchemist TCG to our organized play family," said Scott Martins, president of Worlds Apart, which currently handles organized play for several other popular TCGs. "We're looking forward to a long and successful relationship with JoyRide and hope to continue working with them on future projects."

"From the first demonstration, we were impressed with the capabilities of the Worlds Apart system," said Fullmetal Alchemist TCG Brand Manager Edward Bolme. "Once our fans get familiar with the new system, we're certain they'll love it, too. We're happy to incorporate their tournament system with Fullmetal Alchemist TCG, and we'll be using it with our forthcoming games, as well."

About Fullmetal Alchemist TCG

Based on the top-rated anime series on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, JoyRide Entertainment's Fullmetal Alchemist TCG released in August 2005 and has been followed by three expansion sets. The next expansion set, Alchemists' Gate, comes out Aug. 16 and will include over 150 cards. Alchemists' Gate Pre-Releases will take place Aug. 4-6. The game is supported with tournaments, leagues, a web site, and a dedicated volunteer corps, and readers of both Scrye and InQuest voted it the best TCG released in 2005.
